You can't be minting poverty at the rate APC is doing and not be tagged evil, Donj alleging rigging is immaterial, especially since Otti won Abia, and Obi won Enugu convincingly.

You are wrong. Do your research.

The Nsibidi writing system is of the Ibibio people. Until about a century ago, only the Ekpe cult of the Ibibios knew how to write and transcribe it. Till date, only Ekpe cult members can fully transcribe the Nsibide form of writing which is a tiny bit similar to Hieroglyphs.

Stop appropriating our history to others.
Just like the 1929 Women Riot is wrongly appropriated even though it happened at Ikot Abasi LGA, Akwa Ibom State.

Nsibidi has nothing to do with the Igbos. Strictly Ibibio. In crude Ibibio, Nsibidi means "spirit talk", or like Christians say " Speaking in tongues".
Okay, you're right. I don't know much about the Ibibio people. Many of us in the Southwest call all the tribes around there Igbo.

I'm more familiar with the Igbo people and their language.

It was their GRV's support that finally confirmed that they had an agenda and good that Lagos didn't cave in.

I was like what has GRV done both in private and public establishments in his life to be more competent to govern a state like Lagos?.

I'd take this as you admitting APC has been an unmitigated failure at the centre from 2015-2024, so no need to dwell on that.

APC emerged in 2014 I think, so is that where you want to start from, or you want to include AD/AC/ANPP/CPC to the APC mix?

Almost all the ethnic groups in the SE Nigeria are Igbos. The thing is that, Igbo is a very general identity with numerous variants. Before the civil war, most of those communities consider themselves Igbo. It was the Nigerian government in the bid to weaken the people and use the divide and rule tactics broke the Igbo people apart and made some deny their heritage for a morsel of bread.

I am Owerri for example. My dialect is almost the same as Ikwerre. I cannot understand a man from Enugu or Abakiliki. But Enugu is Igbo and Ikwerre think they are not.

The Igbo cultural set cuts across Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Benue, Edo, Kogi etc.

The Ekpe secret society originated from the Efik speaking people but extended to the Igbo people. Ekpe society developed the nisipidi writings. That is why people say it is Igbo. In reality the Efik people are Igbos.

Okay, many people associate the writing system with the Igbos. Even the guy working on the project made mention of the Igbos in many parts of his works, though he never said Nsibidi originated from the ethnic group.

It is difficult to say because in ancient civilizations who you call an Igbo man covers the people from Cross River like the Ogoja people.

It is like when you refer to the Russians, a Ukrainian may deny he is not Russian. But he actually is.

I thought of a long rebuttal but then I thought what's the point of it when you lack basic understanding of geolocation to know the difference between South East and the South South where Akwa Ibom is located, or you are being mischievous.

You lots just like to force yourself on others even when you have been resoundingly told they have no ties to you. This argument was had just last December on this thread with Okpa and all doubts cleared. When you do this then appropriate other people's cultures.

We aren't interested and have no tribal ties to you. Why can't you get this and be on your way? Why force kinship with those who don't want it?

Remember clearly you started this so when and if it goes south, we know those who would gaslight and play the victim card on this thread.

I'm sure you know there's levels to failure, you can't compare a student that consistently comes last to a student that comes 22 out of 30 every single term, as long as federal governance is concerned, APC is that student that has come last consistently. Nigerians know the standard of living they enjoyed before PDP and during PDP, and they can compare it with what APC has given them in the past 9 years.

The North East and North Central of Nigeria have several states that have been ruled by the AD/AC/ACN/APC/ANPP bloc in one form or the other, and those two regions are the most backwards in the country, especially considering how they fare in HDI metrics. APC has been an all-round failure and the inability of the governors from that part of the country to nip Boko Haram/ISWAP/Herdsmen in the bud is a testament to that failure, abi dem no dey collect the much-touted security vote all along?

A simple way to differentiate one ethnic group or tribe from the other is to check their spiritual beliefs or indigenous religion. Based on that test, Efiks are not Igbos because Abassi is the ancestor of the Efiks, who they regard as the chief god, while Chukwu is the ancestor of the Igbos and their chief god.

Abassi and Chukwu are not the same entities.

African ancient history is not documented but when you look at similarities in culture and traditions you have your facts. I have just used the Ekpe society as an example.

The Otukpo people in Benue speak Igbo, I understand them. Same as the Kwale people in Delta. You can Google Igbo people in Kogi state.

My point is the term Igbo is very generic and in reality is not limited to the five Eastern states

He's a mischievous nitwit. They have begun the aggression then when I and others counter, they play the victims.

Imagine people in the hinterlands who nobody knew and were scattered across countless settlements with no united or defined leadership claiming everyone called us then. Even the Portuguese and first Europeans needed us to go get them for the (inhumane) interaction with the outside world they first had.

You were the oppressed and never the dominant ones. Was it not Ijaw, Itshekiri and Ibibio manhunters who invaded you and sold you off? Inhumane in retrospective but it happened, so how come you claim out of your anus that all tribes down the Niger were called Igbos? In your hinterlands nobody came to except during the slave trade to hunt and capture?

Wasn't it relatively recently their language got written? When Ibibio-Efik and others had been documented for years before that?

He just wants to start and argument and rewrite history. Well, it's a weekend. Let's have it. But let's remember who started it first.

You claim to know geolocations and you think calling South South has any meaning in geography? Even common sense knows it's meaningless.

The term was forced on us just to create divisions.

Yes, there are Igbos in Kogi and other places you mentioned but those places have their own native cultures distinct from Igbo.
