How did you arrive at this calculation based on the voltage and AHs (24V, 280AH) you gave?

Good morning fellow enthusiasts,

I'm curious if anyone has experience with back feeding excess PV harvest into their grid supply. My inverter has this feature, which allows me to do so. I'm wondering if it's possible for my prepaid meter to roll backwards, enabling me to buy back some units from the grid.

I appreciate your prompt response and wish you all a fantastic week ahead.

Best regards,

Bro, just block it or disconnect it. The prepaid meters in Nigeria, you will be charged for back feeding to the grid. It means which ever way current flows the meter will be reading and depleting your units.

So, can I use these with existing 300W panels I bought brand new?

Trippledots:

Went to pick up two units for someone and was able to get pictures. These are usually relabelled and sold as 400w or 450w units to unsuspecting buyers.

Nigerians are quick to increase prices.

Fuoani is becoming more popular when it comes to Pv purchase.

With the current economic state, naija needs quality products that's not a too expensive.

Dollar is now 1531 @ official rate compared to 1637+ as at last week.

It will keep going down.

Sellers should use they brain to sell goods and not waiting for too much profits.

Technically speaking yes.

But getting a brand new one of same make and specs as the existing ones is the best option, if money is not a problem.

300w panels Clearance sales

12pcs of ~300w for clearance sales @86k each!!

Reason for sale
Buyer begged a friend in alaba to help him get panels and other solar devices.

Later buyer got referred to me by a colleague for installation.

Buyer got the shocker of his life when I analysed the panels and told him they were relabelled to 400w. 😳

Now buyer wants to go for 550w panels and needs to dispose these off at a great discount. Panels were bought at the rate of 110k

Location is ojodu Berger, but can be sent to any part of Nigeria.

URGENT SALES!!
clearance sale at 86k but I got a quote of 70k for 300w(72 cells) tokunbo mono panels from the same Alaba. What's the catch? Cos I'm sure the Alaba guys are up to something again.

Just be sure of your source's expertise and integrity.

It took me a lot of stress before I found where I could get correct capacity panels. Then I decided to start selling to help plug that gap of fake capacity panels.

This is a side hustle for me as I have a day job.

But, I have noticed most buyers would rather go for cheaper panels or close price but higher label capacity. And they usually turn out to be relabelled ones. 🙂

YeS.

Just have it at back of your mind that should those relabelled Solar panels be 200w , then even those your 300w solar panels would act like 200w.

but so long those relabelled solar panels are above 300w , you have no issue so long your charge controller can handle the overall capacity.

Pictures and even videos sef won't help.

before we started talking about relabelled solar panels, I already shared how this guys do it.

See eh, except you're buying from recognized outlet (even those sometimes ain't fool-proof), it's better you just go for USED.

Once again, there are several reasons I don't recommend solar Panels above 300w and this relabelling is one of them

Best regards,

Our prepaid meter doesn't support it.

Besides which sub station to you want to send it to?

Your best bet is to sell the electricity to your neighbours.
It will require 2 Meters, the consumer and your monitoring system.
