Interesting. During my university days, I used to visit Osogbo to greet some relatives. But that time, I was still a religious zealot (Muslim) then and used to regard native things as fetish and demonic.

So, due to the toxic influence of Islam, ignorantly, I used to avoid elements of the indigenous culture. If not for the Internet, na so I go still dey condemn good aspects of my culture now while promoting and hyping the culture of the Arabs in ignorance.

Now, I always promote my culture and other native cultures of Africa both online and offline, and this brings me so much joy and fulfilment.
