Genetically speaking,

I have been watching Shogun, and i have been seeing names like Izu and Akechi come up.

I just need to see Chizaram, Kelechi and Oluebube as we progress, to know what part of this world to claim, genetically.

....honestly you can easily claim Ejigbo Indigene in Osun, coz half of their population are either in Abidjan or Accra.

Just tell them you are a Returnee from Accra, thank God your Yoruba is fluent genetically.

How does he want to speak Lagos Yoruba Mi-de mi-de for Ejigbo? Even Abidjan returnees dey get local Ejigbo accent

While I undertand u think it's weird to suggest Akpata could've spent $300k to bribe delegates,

I want u to read this part of the punch article very well. Is Akpata himself not confirming he has deep pockets that can rival some of the political gladiators in the scene?

If u ask me, I think Akpata did whatever they accused him of doing grin

On the issue of being a moneybag, Akpata said, “As the Americans would say, I put my money where my mouth is and you know, these people who say I am a moneybag have been spending before I came into the scene. So, I just wonder what the issue really is. You know when people get uncomfortable with a competition that they cannot match up to, they must look for something to say.

“They are only giving a dog a bad name to hang it. The LP is not as financially buoyant as the other parties. So it is important that all of us who are true party members come together and help our party. I shrug off the claim that I am a money bag. However, Politics is expensive all over the world",

While the parents have their own shortcomings but you sef go re-born yourself or retrain yourself. A man over 60yrs cant be blaming his parents anymore.
I had some friends and family that they were not taught Yoruba growing up, Their parents maybe thought it will affect their English, but as adults now they all speak it

There are people born abroad who dey scatter their native language anyhow. Not speaking your native tongue probably shows you don't care for it much or don't want to be associated with it until it became politically relevant.

Esan no good for language, No good for association but time to collect ticket you remember them

It just feels odd you going to your people and speaking to them in another language. In many families its even considered rude to try speak to your aunties and uncles in English

It's difficult for most adults to learn new language; only few people have the gift of learning new languages as adult. Na Him parents I go blame jare. Person who lived in Nigeria from childhood till he finished his first degree.

Akpata said he bought 26,000 chairs for LP in Edo

The cheapest chair is 5k. Multiply it by 26,000.

He said he bought 18 vehicles plus one for the Zonal HQ, making 19. Multiply by whatever amount you deem fit and tell me if $300,000 is impossible for such a man.

Na for Twitter e go deny am, but from what he just said there, he has spent more than 200 million without vying for anything.

It's no news that he gave 1k dolls.

From all indications Akpata is rich and he's not even hiding it. He just name dropped his two uncles Tayo and Olu Akpata who were NPN & UPN members respectively in the 70's.

The guy definitely doesn't have any qualms fighting dirty going by word on the street on how he got the NBA chair.

I don't know why anybody that will not benefit from his largesse would be defending him or trying to exonerate him from what he is not really denying with full chest

26,000 chairs is more than 100 million

18 cars is more than 70 million.

And all these ones na from goodwill. You never even calculate the settlement wey you write.

I just want to choose the oldest of the old, since we need a defence for him.

If we want to use an ideal price, that guy has spent more than 300 million in December, as he said

But na $300,000 e no get to share for delegates

Calm down Dick.

Just trying to let you know that majority of Obidients have hidden agenda for supporting Obi, unknown to some of you who might be innocent. They didn't support Obi and GRV out of love for Nigeria and Lagos, respectively.

Sad News: The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said overseas remittances into the country rose to $1.3 billion in February 2024 compared to $300 million in the preceding month.

You can't compare February to January when it comes to disposable spending

Have you not heard that there are 8 weeks in January?

Niggas no dey give shishi in January. The comparison should be Year on Year, not month on month

What has entered in Jan and Feb is already more than what entered in 2023 according to the CBN.

They said foreign remittance went to almost zero last year.

It just means people are beginning to use the official channels again
