truthhurts2: It's beneath the spaghetti. The person who sold the food wasn't even in a happy mood. The way I also hurled the food on the Table when I got home made it look rough like I had eaten from it. I felt so bad. |

Puss360: What kind of logic are you propagating? A bag of rice shouldn't be as costly as to warrant a serving spoon to be as high as₦500. Imagine where minimum wage of two months cannot purchase a bag of rice. 2 Likes |

As someone who cooks at home a lot and eats out too, I disagree that eating outside is cheaper. Good food costs money everywhere in the world. If the food is cheap, something has been compromised. Looking at that food there, it is obvious everything was compromised. However, I do agree the initial cost of setting up a kitchen and stocking it could be expensive. I ordered food yesterday @N9,410 Today @ N6380 Just a plate. Though yesterday's own had turkey, asun and meatpie _ aside the main meal. Today is croaker fish. This is for one eating and a serving of jollof is N900 or so. If I decide to eat twice a day, it is almost 100k for 5 working days. How much do I use to cook soup and stew that lasts 3 weeks? 7 Likes

DIVINEEVIDENCE:What exactly is your point? If going by cooking the whole bag of rice, do you know the quantity of gas that will be consumed and the expenses?.. When u start your own business of production you will understand 2 Likes |

Nah what kinda anaemic looking jollof is that? Next time try and be doing meal prep and leave in the freezer so you won’t have to pass through such trials and tribulations. |

This propaganda, lie,lie govt. Their moto is keep lieing n promising the masses till they die of hunger. Keep lieing till the first 4yrs is over. I bet u this govt il not deliver anything to Nigerians till their first 4yrs, then it is left for Nigerians to decide if they continue with the hunger for another 4yrs. 3 Likes |

Re: Take A Look At The Food I Bought For N1,600 Today by sunsweet33: 4:13pm On Mar 13 |
Stephen0mozzy: That why you need to have a basic larder of at least onions, garlic, crayfish, eggs, rice etc. Then wen necessary you buy in perishables like leaves, meat and the rest. Nothing wrong with buying outside once in a while, though. But not being forced like OP to buy weird-looking pocket-bleeders cos he has nothing at home. |
