1. Don't take it personally, it's a general problem affecting everybody. Don't go and be displaying your unclothedness in the bank, those who did didn't get shishi.

2. Suspend all your projects for now until things normalize. Don't kill yourself because you have set a target for yourself.

3. The most important thing now is feeding and health. It's not bad if you touch your savings at this time to survive.

4. Reduce going about to places that are not very important.

5. Stop the unnecessary show of affluence and you don't have to impress anyone now. If you cannot maintain your standard please reduce it for now. If you don't eat meat this time you won't die.

6. Avoid bad and shocking news if you can, especially if you already have high blood pressure. Instead listen to good music, watch comedies and laugh out stress.

7. This is not the time to forsake God or get discouraged in serving God. In fact this is the time to *serve God more*

8. Always know that this time will still come and pass like *CORONA VIRUS* etc.  Don't kill yourself because your tomorrow is far better than your today.

We will conquer this one too by the special grace of God, Amen

Op, you are funny. This is our new normal, the inflation will continue until it reaches a peak point where people can no longer endure, then it will start coming down but slowly.

Prices are not coming down, we have to learn to live with it.

My factory boys thought when i was feeding them i was cheating them. They asked for weekly feeding allowamce instead of me feeding them like i did daily. The forst day, they ran off to buy meat. That was the last. In less than five days, the money for a week feeding is gone. They have now seen first hand the reality of one feeding ones self in todays times. Like the Op said, cut down on meat and unecessary expense. In their absence you wont die. The struggle is temporary and it wont last forever !

What is temporary? This is the new normal. For 8 years, did the price of rice go down? Or the price of drinks? Inflation is not a disease that just comes and go.

Nigerians should just adjust and live with it.

I pray God help us all. Hardship this hardship that. I was at the mall today I was surprised to see numerous people blowing 10k, 15k on jollof and fried rice at a go and even leaving half inside the plate as the leave I was like nawa

So what should we do with such short-sighted observation?

Why didn't you do the math to make a ratio of those leaving half-plate filled versus those who can't?

This is the problem with Nigerians , instead of dealing with the root of the problem we will rather find a way to live with and adapt to the problem.

Someone once said and I agree, that Nigerians are so rugged and dogged that if we are been pushed to the wall we would rather break the wall than fight back.

We should be given an award for the Most Patient Stupid and Tolerant Cowardly Citizens in the World

Push Nigeria to a wall, they wont push back. Rather they will create a pathway through the wall.

They are in church now. Praying.

You know their stupidity is factory-fitted.

Thanks, Op... This is just Common Sense!

The reality is that the middle class is now officially extinct.

It's the era of the HAVES and the HAVE-NOTS.

Accept your reality, and mind your spending.

The worst hit are the middle-tier salary earners (especially civil servants) and the students of tertiary institutions.

You know: those middle-tier u describe here are one of the most aloof categories u can ever find. As long as they can put stuff in their stomach and send their kids to school, they seem not to care.

They just want to somehow selfishly live their lives through and have no worries about the true downtrodden or the societal / economic decay.

When the economic woes knock them off that pedestal they once thought safe, maybe they will have wider dimensional view of things.

I just find it funny to believe anyone would like to cheat on his wife with a prostitute. It feels unbelievable, I used to think that it's sex-starved individuals without no other options that patronize whores. Talking about cutting costs and surviving in tribulation and difficult times like now, it will be cheaper to stick to strictly your wife, especially when the OP advised forgoing meat. Why forgo meat and pay prostitutes when you have a wife?
I don't know your gender and I don't know why u are taking it personal.its not a new tin that men cheat and even pastors cheat on their wives.if u are a woman, wud u prefer Ur man to cheat on u with a side chick or a prostitute? (assuming u av to choose bw the two).if u date a side chick u most likely pay for her rent, put her on a monthly salary etc and mind u,u are putting Ur life at risk cos u are sleeping with her without protection but Wen u sleep with a prostitute there's no strings attached and cos u know she's a public toilet u always use protection.pls let's us not deceive ourselves d percentage of married men that cheat is more than the percentage of single guys that double date

To survive requires rejecting incompetent leaders who lack vision and competency in governance.
With the abundance of Natural and human resources in the country Nigerians shouldn't be suffering hunger, insecurity and hopelessness in 2024 if the right leadership is in place to coordinate these resources for the progress of the nation and it's citizens.
We've never had it this bad as a nation. Tinubu is the worst thing to happen to this country.

You said it right,
Most Nigerians are bunch of tribalistic idiots whose brains are slaughtered on the alter of tribalism.
They vote idiots, then sit back to accept whatever their leaders mete on them and plan survival instead of coming out in mass and demand for better leadership

Oga forget about our leader... Let the cleansing start from your own heart.

The same people that can not maintain orderliness here, are the same people promoting peace and order in other countries like UK, Canada, United States, and other develop countries.

If you see them there, very quiet and peaceful as water.

You come here telling me about one leader, when a little office holder like your community chairmen is using the heads of their own people.
