Free somebody you should have free since you say no, trying to delay kanu release till when you want to start campaign for second term is not good.

The problem I have with people like this old man Adebanjo is their hypocrisy.. why didn't he call Kanu to order when he was running hate broadcasts on radio biafra from London, radicalizing Igbo youths and inciting hatred among tribes in Nigeria?.. why didn't Ayo Adebanjo that calls himself an elder prevail on Igbo leaders in Ohanaeze to call their son Kanu to order?.

Buhari just had mercy on Kanu else the agency that caught him in Kenya and bundled him back to Nigeria would have silently eliminated him.. no be FBI eliminate American citizen that threatened to kill POTUS of recent?

Okay, can someone explain to me why Kanu issued order for IP0Bs to attack Tinubu and Sanwo Olu in Lagos?.. did any of the two govern any South East state or is Lagos State part and parcel of the South East region?.
What is wrong is wrong, we can't keep turning blind eyes to matters that can result in civil war or ethnic clashes in Nigeria.

Anyway, for Lamidi, I really pity him. The people he was fighting for had even moved on. It’s now the people he was fighting against that are soliciting for his release. What an irony of life!

Ayo Adebanjo is right. They should not keep him in detention. Instead, they should put him down like the rabid dog he is. Or enable him to attempt to escape, then shoot to stop him.

I listened to many of Nnamdi Kanu's broadcasts live on radio Biafra.

With the kinds of things he said and instigated, he deserves to be locked up.

But I think he's done some time, up to 6 years in detention...

He should be released.

However, on October 28, 2022, the court of appeal granted a stay of execution on its verdict discharging Kanu, after the federal government filed an appeal at the supreme court.

On December 15, 2023, a five-member panel of the apex court reversed the verdict of the appeal court and ordered Kanu to resume his trial before the federal high court.


A Court reverse its earlier rulling.
Looks like a movie from a Banana Republic.
Further naking Nigeria become like a zoo.

During one of those broadcast Kanu made on Radio Biafra, he proclaimed and I quote
"Let's all contribute a dollar each, we are going to buy ammunition and bring down that zoo"
"Kill any Yoruba or Hausa man you see"

Is this the kind of man that people are saying "What did Kanu do?"

Like I said all he needs now is mercy not grandstanding.

He has done reasonable time already, let him be freed.

I disagree with Baba Adebanjo. Sentiments have no place in the dispensation of justice. Yes, fulani terror mongers are being treated with kid gloves. Their day will come, in Jesus name.
However, Nnamdi Kanu is culpable. Let him face the music.
On a final note, may the militarised political playing field we currently have be done away with. As of now, the more brutal you are, the more political value you have. Cultists and militia warlords have overrun the landscape. We won't make sustainable progress like this.
Buhari had the opportunity to sanitise the arena, but sadly he had nothing to offer.

Can you kindly make your points clearer? The guy said the president doesn't listen to the voice of reasoning. He is entitled to his opinion. You said the office of the president is being insulted. You are entitled to your opinion as well.
But can you still remember when the current president said all manners of evils against the highest office of the country? Did u still remember that he led a protest against an agenda which he himself has done today? Did you remember that he said nothing when a coffin was on display announcing the demise of the president then?
