gifted65: What's the ampere rating of your powmr cc? Is it the 60A variant? Why did he say the mppt can't take more than 3 panels? I am aware some people exceed the max wattage rating for their cc. In ur use case, the 60A powmr cc can take max of 720w. for a 12v system. If you use 3 pcs of the 300w panel, that's 900w in total, giving a difference of 180w excess. |

I want to setup solar system for four Thermocool Freezers with these ratings on it. VOLTAGE/FREQUENCY: 230V ~ 50Hz WATT/RATED CURRENT: 110W/1.2A ENERGY CONSUMPTION: 0.77Kwh/24h I want to use Lithium Battery Please which inverter capacity do I need. Also which battery capacity is needed. And how many solar panels do I need. Please help I'm considering 3.5KVA Hybrid Inverter 4 550 Solar Panels 24v 200ah Lifepo4 Battery Will it carry the load, considering that I'm running it for 24hours cc mctfopt cc valto cc isangjohnson cc Obnoxious2001 cc dollarnaira cc bassdow cc brightk |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by easyyoke: 4:49pm On Mar 31 |
jonescosmos: Interesting. What did you use to test the battery’s capacity. I have always known that these Felicity batteries must be overated. Imagine a whole 1500kwh short. What did you use for the capacity test to take the reading |

How do i resolved a 5kva Yohako that doesn't charge beyond 54%. The charge mode is between 50% to 60% Please help 🙏 |

BlueStripper:This wont help. There's a place in ur manual where its written ow to connect the panels and maximum it can take |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by brightk(m): 5:17pm On Mar 31 |
BlueStripper:.. There are two types of jinko 625w panels. The N 72 and N 78 half cut cell. Each have difft voc rating so i cant proffer a solition until i kno the specs of your type of jinko 625w panel. U can as well snap the nameplate on the back of the panel.Btw what brand if inverter is this |

BlueStripper: Where did you get it from? |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 5:28pm On Mar 31 |
Edrizz: 4s2p won't be efficient, the minimum voltage for that IVEM3024 is 120v, but 360v is the Nominal Voltage(Where the inverter will achieve maximum efficiency). 7s1p or 8s1p if distance from pv to inverter is much. NB: Max Voc of your inverter is 500v and not 400v as stated. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 5:36pm On Mar 31 |
xtremeidea: That inverter will consume nothing less than 80w as Idle Consumption and battery is small compare to pv size and number bank. Although the inverter us rugged, it's sure to outlived many hybrid and non-hybrid inverter on the market now! |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 5:41pm On Mar 31 |
BlueStripper: The inverter has Max Pv Input Current of 15A. Your pv has 13.92A DON'T parallel, only series. Edit: |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by brightk(m): 5:48pm On Mar 31 |
TechGeek777:oga aveg look wetin u type.. y parralel.. his input current as stated by u is 15a. And pv is 13... even if na 10a go con out of pv .. parralel not go fit work. Thexbest tin here na series |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 5:59pm On Mar 31 |
Valentinooo: This fan is Max 82w when used with 1.5mm wire |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mank1234(m): 6:06pm On Mar 31 |
BlueStripper: If max input current is 15A, doing 4s2p will waste a lot of valuable power as inverter will only take 15A from the combined 2 strings. You'll be better off with 7s1p. The controller will clip the excess pv power to 3kw as per your nameplate specification. 7s will ensure your input is below 15A and VoC below 400V. 1 Like |

easyyoke: This is part of the reason hybrid inverter is better. Wait to hear the cost of getting MPPT with Bluetooth, you will see that hybrid is far better! |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 6:25pm On Mar 31 |
BlueStripper: I thought it's IVEM3024, which model is this? Since its 400v, max you can connect is 7s1p 1 Like |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Valentinooo: 7:34pm On Mar 31 |
TechGeek777: I use this. Also, I monitor the load output on the inverter, when no other thing is connected. Like you said, it might be due to that cable size sha. I no longer use it self, Qasa AC/DC all the way

TechGeek777: The solar panels are intentional as it carries my house and fridge throughout the day. Is there a device i can add to view the power stats on my computer of phone? I came across this Epever device online, dont know if it would work with Felicity Charge controller!
