In any case, although it seems based on falsehood there's some logic/wisdom in that scary doctrine of hellfire that they have used to keep the populace in line with established rules of proper human behaviour. Were it not for this consciousness, most people would have been living in a brutal state of nature.
Btw, I'm neither a Christian or a Muslim.

Even this stuff you typed is a sign of western brainwashing.

The idea that without Christianity everyone would be killing each other etc.

Why are Japan and China peaceful and crime-free? They practice their traditional religion, which rejects hellfire doctrines.

HELLO!?

Guess what?

People ARE slaughtering each other in reckless abandon in this CHRISTIAN age and in Christian nations more than in ANY OTHER AGE.

Have you seen the crime statistics of this world?

The numbers killed in wars, mostly funded by Christian nations like the USA?

THIS is the age of widespread violence and lawlessness, NOT the ages before.

In Nigeria people built their houses without front doors, gates or fences before colonialism and Christianity.

The idea of someone entering a house to steal was unheard of!

Now with Christianity widespread, you dare not build a house without those security measures.

So Christianity and its stupid doctrines did not reduce crime and criminality. It INCREASED IT VASTLY.

This question is like asking: "are there degrees of poisons?" or "Amongst the poisons that are available, which poison is more poisonous?"

No need to ask. Just avoid it!

I was expecting it. Thats how English Bible mostly translate the root words. And u have been brainwashed to perceive hell in a particular way. But note that the Bible say Jonah was in hell, David too and Jesus was there for three days.
Hell fire in many English translations is gotten from either of these three root words; Gehenna, Sheol and Hades. Sheol and hades means the place of non existence or common grave while Gehenna means the place of everlasting destruction or separation from God. None of them ever means a place of fiery torment.
It makes sense why some godly men in the Bible were said to be or have been in Hell. “Study to show thy self approved “

Brainwashing you say wink. How else would I justify their idea of using their notion of heaven and hellfire?
It's just something they tell people from the onset of their childhood, that when you're good, you get rewarded with heaven and when you're bad, you're heading straight to hell. So the child then threads the path of goodness to avoid the eternal damnation that befalls bad, evil people.

Nice of you citing Oriental traditions of the Asians, but then, you can't just totally condemn Christianity. It has its own merits. There are lots of people who have, and still truthfully and humanely practices its faith and don't commit atrocities in the name of God. Those who do are seriously misguided.

Happy sunday.

The bible talks about hell and death been cast into the lake of fire.(Rev20:13-15)
This means every unsaved person is going to be swimming in fire for all eternity.

What about people who were unlucky to exist before the gospel got to their location? E.g people who lived and died before the gospel got to Nigeria.

What about most people in countries e.g north korea and other such countries who have little to no knowledge about christ?

What of people who were unfortunate(they're all going to hell) to be born into say islam, budhism, hinduism and other religious movements? You might say these people should simply convert to christianity just by hearing the gospel, but switching religion isn't that simple. They are plugged to their faith the same way you have been indoctrinated and plugged to yours.

What about other sects of christianity that aren't getting it right?

Are all of this people going to be thrown into the lake of fire recieving same punishment as shekau or Hitler for all eternity?

God had wipe away the time of ignorant, God is calling on everyone into repentance. There was a time God judged base on consent and that was the dark era.

LoLz. I don't care about all this. The words in the Bible say hell fire and have caused people to believe so. You attempting to explain it away does nothing to alleviate the beliefs of billions of people in hell fire, something they can clearly see in their Bibles.

You seriously dont have a brain. The one you were born with has been taken-over by religious indoctrination. You are now a typical religious zombie not having the ability to think, reason and come to a logical conclusion independently.

My point is that we had an even more profound MORALITY before Christianity.

Christianity did not strengthen our morals.

It eroded them.

Trashed them and gave us dehumanising lies about a phantom ‘hellfire’ to lock us into their lying religion out of fear.

Humans are not supposed to worship God out of fear.

Their relationship with the Divine is meant to be based on KNOWLEDGE, not fear.

If YOU were a God that created humanity, would you want them to FEAR you?

Would you torture them in an everlasting fire?

If so, you are a SICK person.

A psychopath.

Rest assured, the Supreme Being is not a psychopath, so the Christians are LYING about God.

100% RUBBISH.

THAT BIBLE YOU READ IS FILLED WITH ROMAN LIES.

WE REMAIN CONSCIOUS AND ALIVE AFTER ‘DEATH’ BECAUSE WE ARE POWERFUL IMMORTAL BEINGS,

WE ARE NOT OUR BODIES ANYMORE THAN A SPACESUIT IS A PERSON.

OUR PHYSICAL BODIES SIMPLY ALLOW US TO PARTICIPATE IN EARTH LIFE.

DEATH IS SIMPLY A SHEDDING OF THAT BODY AS WE RETURN TO OUR PRE-BIRTH EXISTENCE IN THE REAL WORLD, NOT THIS SIMULATION WE CALL ‘LIFE ON EARTH’.

THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES AND OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES.

WHEN YOU ‘DIE’, YOU WILL EXIT YOUR BODY, RISE UP, AND BE LOOKING AT YOUR BODY FROM THE CEILING.

YOU WILL REMAIN ALIVE BUT INVISIBLE TO PHYSICAL HUMANS.

BUT YOU WILL BE VISIBLE TO THOSE IN YOUR DIMENSION OF EXISTENCE.

So what escapes the body after death?

So what escapes the body after death?

Your Consciousness.

The YOU that is reading these words.

Consciousness is energy without form or shape.

It does not depend on a physical body to EXIST.

Sure, it depends on a physical body to be a part of this physical world.

Otherwise you would be invisible.

Once the time to leave arrives, it leaves the physical body and returns home, with its full awareness and consciousness intact, and even expanded to its pre-birth state.

You are a POWERFUL immortal being,

You will never be extinguished or annihilated because you are an aspect of God.

You are a droplet from a great sea of Consciousness called GOD.

These facts are known to all the pre Christianity and pre Islamic religions, such as African religion, Hinduism, Shintoism, Buddhism, Taoism, etc.

It was the Europeans and Arabs who invented LIES about humans needing to worship THEIR Arab or European god or be condemned to an eternal burning furnace.

PURE, 1000% LIES.

1. Was Satan a perfect creation of God?
2. Did Satan fall before the creation of man?
3. If yes to both second questions, why did God not create a man that can't sin?

4. Will man fall again after reaching to heaven?
If no, why wasn't man created to be like he will be after being in heaven from the start?

5. Can God see tomorrow? If yes, did God know that man was going to fall? If he knows, why did he allow man to fall?

6. God hardened Pharaoh's heart against Israel, that was him taking out the will power from Pharoah to achieve his plan...
Why didn't God take away the will power from man after the creation?

7. Why did God allow Satan to tempt man?

I can answer all your questions from the Bible... contact me on whatsapp on 08167469103.

Re: Are There Degrees Of Punishment In Hell? by Rossikk(m): 6:35pm On Apr 07
Michael547:

So are you saying that I was conscious somewhere before I was born? If yes, where?

Absolutely you were very much alive before you were born here.

Where?

In the so called heaven, spirit world, afterlife, or whatever name you want to call it.

I just call it THE REAL WORLD.

It is said that when you return there, THIS Earth life feels like a short dream you had.

THERE feels more ‘real’ than here.

Also, linear TIME, or sequential time, does not exist there.

Everything happens all at once.

The Eternal Now, as it’s called.

It’s impossible to explain how that even works, looking at it from our dimension.

But that’s how it is. There’s no before or after or yesterday or tomorrow.

You can decide to visit ANCIENT EGYPT OF THE PHARAOHS, and just observe them in operation.

You can visit the FUTURE EARTH of say 2095 or 3096, and see how they are living.

One more thing.

As humans on Earth, we are virtually BLIND to reality and existence.

We can only see 0.2% of matter in the universe.
The 99.8% is called Dark Matter by scientists.

The 0.2% we can see is only the tiny sliver of matter that reflects light.

In the Dark Matter universe resides the REAL WORLD filled with trillions and trillions of beings, worlds, manifestations of LIFE.

That is where we RETURN to after this Earth experience.

Have always held that line of thought and wondered how could a so called loving, merciful God be dreadful at the same time condemning billions of his own creation to everlasting fire, even over petty sins? It was that fear factor that pushed me away from Christianity.

Well, if we try to play God, we could argue that some people that have committed gruesome heinous crimes do deserve some severe punishment, but that they could just burn perpetually/eternally is sickening, mehn!
That somewhat makes the punisher as wicked as the one being punished. They're just more or less the same person.

I tend to see my God as loving, one who chastises his creatures with great life's lessons and experiences.

That's why I dislike that phrase commonly used by persons looking for love, when they say " God-fearing man/woman" . For me, It should rather be, " God-loving man/woman.

You are indeed a wise man.

You are on the right path.

It is said that in the Afterlife your conscience is your judge.

There, it is in its purified state, so if you committed heinous crimes in your Earth life, YOU YOURSELF would be burdened with the heaviest guilt, and it is said to be even more painful than physical torture.

Because THERE, you realise that we are all ONE, including God. We are all ONE BEING, just operating under a temporal illusion of separateness.

So you were hurting yourself thinking you were hurting a ‘different’ person or ‘other’ people.

You will feel greatly ashamed.

Many souls decide to be reborn into Earth to make amends or learn new lessons etc.

Your body release your soul which is now term death. It's your soul that will continue journey in eternity. Your body just wear your soul ( which is real you) in other to function in physical realm. The Spirit goes back to God that gives it after death. Repent from your sinfulness or prepare for hell.
