yoruboid:You are very correct . Fake drugs ,fake spare parts and baby factories would also have increased. Indeed ,Obi couldn't have been a better option. Indeed,if not for the initial sabotage of the economy especially , on monetary exchange that this administration suffered from unpatriotic citizens ,the economy would have gone far positively. 2 Likes |

No bro, you know the truth that government could drive the dollar downward and decrease the price of crude oil, but the wealth government officials are making from this economic mismanagement is absurd. The northern cabals are holding the country economy to ransome through herdsmen criminality and banditry but the government is not ready to end it because government officials and foreign bodies benefits from the blood money. This administration doesn't represent the average Nigerian but we keep praying to God to use the president to remedy our plights dalass: |

The dollar is technically 2000 plus, do you understand what 30% inflation means? This government is a scam and should be treated as such, let's not blame traders, if dollars is below 1000 as speculated, why is crude oil still expensive? Let the price of local crude oil production react positively to the stock market, and the results alone would change our stances towards this cabal-ruled government. ote author=FreeStuffsNG post=129450650] Awesome!!! It is obvious that the naysayers, not only him, owe the President an apology for spreading prophecy of doom[/quote] |

helinues: This is what I always say , people are more wicked, rude and cruel more than our politicians.. if some set of people could have their way to any political sit they will do worst .we are contributing 60 percent of hardship going on in this country while our politicians balance it to full with 40 percent.. Now that dollar is having no strength against if you want to buy anything they will not complain about Dollar again is fuel they will be complaining about... |

We know for sure that dollar is coming down, glory to God but the level of corruption and mismanagement going on at the federal level is sickening, we didn't expect less from the government of the oppurtuned thieves because we knew what was coming after INEC abracadabras. shepherd316:That inflation numbers went up doesn't mean your money has lost value, it's not absolute and as we type here, there are products like Indomie etc that their prices have dropped in the last one month. Inflation numbers are calculated from few products and services sampled and their prices compared with a base the previous month. Don't ascribe a holy grail to it. New numbers are already in the works as I type now but will not be released until later next month yet you have already benefited from the lower price. 1 Like |

Eriokanmi: It’s the same thing we are all talking about. You choose not to reduce ur price after the crash of the dollar because according to you, products you produced when the dollar was high is yet to be exhausted but you can increase the price of your commodity the minute the dollar increase even when it’s clear the products you produced when the dollar was still low hasn’t been totally consumed. That’s an opportunistic behavior and Nigerians are master opportunists |

Eriokanmi: OGA why is these narrative always one way ... it is when dollar drop producers will tell us they have stock that will last 3month to finish But if dollar Rise today .... same producers won't wait 48hrs to hike price, why can't they also wait to exhaust Old stock before jumping on New stock price Even as we speak should dollar jump to 1500 tomorrow , traders/producers will inflate price again .. all that we bought when dollar was 1900 everyone is claiming will be swept under the carpet |

SlavaUkraini: You bought an article for N500 and after that a rise in dollar brought its price to N800. And because it was an old stock, you decided to sell the article for N600 to make a profit of N100. Now you can't even restock your shop with your capital of N500 and a profit of N100. You will be out of business because you failed to obey the current forces of demand and supply. 1 Like 1 Share |

iamtoofan:Are you aware the price of a bag of rice has dropped? Do you know why? It's because most of the rice we eat are imported. Imported goods will witness immediate reduction in prices because they are not produced locally. You cannot stock rice for too long. A shipload of rice cant be enough to feed lagos alone in a month so, you expect prices of such commodities to drop immediately as more shiploads of rice are being discharged. Noodles for instance are being produced locally, pasta, too. They import the materials and keep in silos which could last 3-6 months. until they exhaust them and order to replenish, dollar crashes will not affect price per unit. gradually, if the trend improves, the economy will improve. |
