Everybody knows who did it. It wasn't terrorists that announced the attack, the first time we heard of it was the US telling us Israel dropped missiles in Iran. Italian minister is telling G7 that Isreal only gave 24 hours warning.

The g5 plus Atikus sway would have seen the PDP across the finish line either way... There's a lot of pragmatic voters that hinged their decision on going LP way based on the rubbish that the g5 was constituting.

Wike was and is still quite influential and the last PDP convention is pointer to that. There's some people that might not have finesse, but they're able to wield influence... Wike strikes me as one of such person's.

The g5 isn't as influential as you're making them seem. I stand by my point that Atiku lost to Tinubu simply because Obi contested. Assuming Peter Obi didn't contest, irrespective of whether Wike and his G whatever group rebelled, Atiku would've won the 2023 presidential election.

There's no way you'd dice Wikes move without it looking like he played himself... Man went from being a major political force in the PDP, probably even potential VP or presidential nominee for the party in years down the road, to becoming one of Emi Lokan's boys with zero prospects of getting any federal acceptance.
He will be a tinubu's boy forever. Another thing he wants is to replicate Tinubu's Lagos State godfatherism in Rivers State

Wike is a dick but he carried pdp for 8 years. He would have been a terrible VP candidate but they should have found a diplomatic way to fk him over.

Atiku seems to have a very high temperament, maybe he would have been able to manage Wike.

As far as I'm concerned, Atiku/Wike ticket was PDPs best shot at the presidency. The moment he went for Okowa, the election was lost.

That is an African inferiority complex speaking right there.

That picture is simply from a previous BBC interview while he was with kids in the slum.

Let's stop to major in the minor abeg. How choice of picture take affect the feat he wan achieve?
Not to mention that its a time sensitive news and there's third-party right issues they have to deal with picking these professional shots. They go don pick fine pic finish, Nigerian photographer go begin trend #BBCpicthieves.

Lmao. No sane party will give Wike VP ticket.

Just imagine Wike as your presidential or vice presidential candidate. Wtf
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel: 5:48pm On Apr 19
Atiku would've lost before 9am assuming he chose the useless Wike as vice. Why would Wike even want to be Atiku's vice after all the noise he made after losing the primaries? Talk about shamelessness.

In Cross Rivers, their governorship candidate was a close ally of Wike. His structure worked against Atiku and supported Obi.

In Ondo, Mimiko is the leader of the party. His structure worked against Atiku and supported Tinubu

In Ekiti, you have Fayose and his men. Also a strong ally of Wike.

These are people that could easily have given Atiku some decent amount of votes in their respective states.

Cross River ground game was to support Obi, I doubt the governor could have changed that

Mimiko was already irrelevant in PDP and in Ondo long before and had limited following, He has decamped to ZLP and other mushroom parties long before. He has very little electoral value. Aketi as the governor and would have won Ondo regardless

Ekiti long before the creation of G5, Fayose declared his support for Tinubu as far back as 2021 and it was used to attack him by some PDP members then

Elder001 calm down na . grin

I know say Atiku loss pain u but Atiku + Wike would've given Tinubu + Shettima a run for their money make we no lie, make we no steal.

All those kind rigging Wike did in Rivers would've been in Atiku's favor .

Wike is no less deserving than the garrulous VP who's closeted Boko Haram and a president who was likely involved in drug running up until his 60s...the less said about his youthful shenanigans the better cheesy

Regarding Fayose

There are 2 type of "Tinubu People"

1 The Tinubu boys These are mostly technocrats and professionals who were headhunted by Tinubu and brought into politics. These type of people without Tinubu wont even win their street election. They are mainly in the SW as many of them had worked in Lagos state either in private sector or in Lagos cabinets after their time in Lagos, Tinubu pushes them to their home states e.g Fashola Ambode, SanwoOlu, Adelabu, Edun Cardoso

2. The Tinubu allies These are politicians who have tried and possibly fallen short and aligned with Tinubu to help them win their elections, help them with court cases financial support or just need his influence to fight bigger opponents. The are usually not the typical Lagos guys and very strong on their own too e.g Oshiomole Amosun, Ajimobi, Fayose, Ganduje Ngige

Wike will fall under category 2. Fayose was helped by Tinubu at a time when OBJ was hounding him and has been loyal to Tinubu from a distance especially when its outside Ekiti local politics

Fayose will always support Tinubu

Ibime have you seen @pansophist posts on this site?

It's funny how most of his posts are about how the West is bad..inhumane, and so on yet he stays in a western country. I once asked him why he doesn't stay in either China or Russia, but he didn't reply. If he posts only 20% of the kind of stuffs he posts against Western countries against China in a Chinese platform while living there, he wouldn't last a month before being disappeared.

Even Chinese and Russians can't post about their country without disappearing talkless of a foreigner
