We need to be mindful of what we say or post on social media because it might come back to haunt us.

My cousin met a guy in late 2022, and their relationship was good up until early this month.

Her boyfriend took her to the UK and Cancun this past February, and he even proposed to her on Valentine's Day in Cancun.

I believe she was really in love with this guy, but her friends who are jealous of her and her relationship ruined everything, all because of the series of things she posted online before she met her boyfriend.

One of her friends, who was jealous of the relationship, sent my cousin's old social media posts to my cousin's boyfriend.

Some of the posts.

“I don’t give a damn about any love, and I am not going to be loyal to any man. I go where money goes”

“Don’t come here to preach love to me because that 4 that letter words is not in my dictionary”

“I don’t know why women get upset when their partners cheat on them, as for me, I don’t care if you cheat on me or not……….I am bleeping any man that can pay the price”

He called her about two weeks ago to break the bad news: "I am no longer interested in this relationship."

Now she’s down crying, and the boyfriend stop picking calls.

That's why it's not good for a responsible lady to be posting nonsense on the social Media.

As much as I hated what she posted... Her fiance is not matured enough to handle a marriage. He should have investigated before breaking up. Who does that. You can't compare a 23 year old me and my 30, it's different man.

Do women really lose out in cases like this? Not at all

There are more in line to wife her up and the good thing is that whatever she did to attract this one would prolly be enough to attract a classy yet stupider man

It's a W in the end

Men change, women don't.

A womaniser can stop womanising the moment he gets married but an olosho will always remain olosho even after marriage.

He's immature for being careful??

What investigation would u have done??

30 year old u could even be worst than 23 year old you...so u don't really have a point on the age issue

She should not cry. She should celebrate that she dodged a bullet. If a friend can make the guy make this type of decision when they are not married because of what she wrote in the past and could have grown up from, what will he do when he has to manage his neighbours, colleagues and in-laws They will say your wife did this yesterday, oya send her out. Make she de celebrate escape. When you are rejected, it is a redirection. Take heed.

Sometimes it’s difficult to take that risk.

If it is in someone’s human nature, it can only be suppressed, which means anytime conditions favor such nature, it springs back up and sometimes like never before.

For example, someone doesn’t just stop being a psychopath.
I no fit blame the guy at all.
