It beats my imagination why a particular people can just exist for the sole aim of beating their dry chests to make them feel better, even when hunger is removing their wrapper from their waist. Lagos is not better than any state in Nigeria, no better roads, no better electricity, no better business climate, no better quality of living or security, but some people exist in this world by hyping the city, even to the point of telling bare faced lies to make them sleep better at night. Online, everyone who is from there who are ashamed of their states will claim Lagos, because of the online hype, the lies and the vain attempts to rub it in everyone's face that the place is better. The commissioner did what every other person from there does, BOAST ON EMPTY STOMACH. 205 Likes 20 Shares |

If you are comparing your GDP with other cities in Africa, I think the most reasonable thing to do is to convert our naira into dollars. That will automatically bring down the GDP of any state in Nigeria. 76 Likes 9 Shares |

I sincerely doubt Lagos GDP being ₦41trn. Last time I checked , Lagos was 30% of Nigeria GDP which in 2024 is $253bn so Lagos should be around $75bn in GDP. Nevertheless, government should try and take/keep & update records and statistics properly. 18 Likes 1 Share |

vanbonattel:stop it! Lagos is in the lead on countless fronts... Lagos is NOT like every other state... Most ungrateful people who found their footing in entertainment and business in lagos are so blinded by self esteem issues that they just express a knee jerk reaction anytime they see anything about their benefactors. 17 Likes 3 Shares |
