Biddieg: You mean they gave you PAL then 2 weeks later they revoked your admission? If yes, did they cancel the PAL? It could be a mistake. You may have to reach out to them. Which program were you admitted to? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Biddieg: 6:41pm On May 04 |
They didn’t revoke the PAL, just got an automated email that says the admission has been revoked that’s all. I have since sent a mail immediately. Thanks |

I am helping filling an application on IRCC portal for a mother SP and child 3 yrs old VV as a group application. For the child, if I say the mother is applying on his behalf, it will require me to upload Use of Representive form even for the mum even though the mum is not being represented. It looks like if the mother is applying in the same application with a child then Use of Representative wouldn't apply to the child. Is this correct? 1 Like |

And if your a Centennial student seeing this, how long did it take to hear back from them? Thank you I would really appreciate a reply🙏🏽 |

ehiremen2002: Biddieg:Seems like all PAL has validity date will expire in January, 21 or 22 ,2025 a year after cap was implemented.. Or when the college uses all the allocations available in this case automatically PAL has expired, it appears that they have used all the allocations.. New qouta or allocation will roll out from January 22nd 2025.. Seems like you'll have to wait till January 2025 for this college.. |

mayrhe:Did you do upfront medicals? Did you get a prompt in your portal to do medicals before doing so? I submitted my application on April 19th and went ahead to do upfront medicals on April 22nd. I am yet to get any IRCC prompt to do medicals in my portal and that's why I am worried if I need to raise a webform with the print out form from the Qlife medicals. No result or correspondence yet from Qlife; today is the 8th business day |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by mayrhe: 12:37pm On May 05 |
Yes, I did Upfront medicals and I've gotten a mail from Qlife that they've submitted the result to ircc, although Ircc is yet to update it on my portal. Hopefully they do that this week. It's not compulsory that ircc must notify you to do medical, before doing it. I have people that did upfront medical and it was updated on their portal later after their hospital submitted it to ircc, even though they were yet to require them to do the test. You can, but preferably use the one you got from the banking hall, because it carries the stamp Wonder1844: 1 Like |

Please I need help. I am writing my SOP, I finished my undergraduate studies in 2012, did a masters degree in Electrical engineering and finished in 2021. I got admission for a masters degree that aligns with my professional experience. Is there needbto include in my SOP my first masters degree explaining that I am going for this masters degree because it aligns with my professional experience. Not including the first master degree would show a study gap of 12yrs. I have been working for over 10yrs and the course I am going for is inline with what I presently do Pls what will you advice in this case? |

ehiremen2002: It depends on you, if you have the funds you can do with Qlife, it will be like seeking a second opinion. The reason being that IOM is found of detecting these TB issues when some of the applicants have never had TB. The IRCC will review the results when they get them so long as it comes from their designated panel physician. |
