Leave the Balotelli to his antics. They promote willful ignorance when it suits them. That's why they turn deaf and dumb when government enforces their notice in Anambra CluelessMODS: 9 Likes 1 Share |

@naptu2 thank you for ALL the threads you painstakingly create. How you establish the history that lead us here is what I like about your threads. To all those that say that have gone from "oh they gave them only 2hours" to "EVERYTIME there is flooding they demolish", one person can't use his property and cause a thousand others suffering so the government has to do the needful. See how quiet they were when they were asked if they had documents but their online minions will be here making noise. You were given notices 3 years and you didn't seek to remedy it before government came for you, now you want to whip up ethnic sentiments. 14 Likes 4 Shares |

Thank you for this. I have always said Nigerians are the number reason government won't work. For any system to work in Nigeria you need to shut your ears to Nigerians 11 Likes 1 Share |

Where was the govt when the house was being built? Are you saying such massive hose was being built in a high brow area like Mryland and the govt was not aware? |

naptu2: Stop defending evil. Sanwolu has done nothing other than destroying Igbo owned houses and properties in Lagos since after the 2023 Elections for the simple racist reason that the Igbo didn't vote for him. In this harsh Tinubu economy all you could think of is destroying people's livelihood. Your reward awaits you. 1 Like |

StOla: I noticed building sinking also in Port Harcourt. Someone bought a swamp and built an estate on its. There were at the plastering stage when the building started sinking inside. But why are engineers and architects wicked. Why not inform the owner not to build on such land. 12 Likes |

naptu2: Keep quiet and stop this deception. There was a destructive flooding in Dubai not long ago. Did you hear they went about destroying houses and blaming the same victims whom they( govt) gave approval to build the houses in the first place? This subterfuge won't sway sane, reasonable, and objective persons. 3 Likes |

Well, I have nothing against proper urban planning and restructuring. That said, demolition of houses and structures blocking major waterways is non-negotiable. However, 2 hours to vacate will never make sense. Even if you sent them earlier notices, still come in person with your bulldozers at least a day before. That gives them 24 hours minimum notice prior to actual demolition. To just show up, and tell them to leave instantly is shockingly inhumane. In addition, Lagos state government needs to work on their land and building laws... They need to start removing grey areas, and leaving no room for doubts for those intending to develop. One way would be to use every avenue of public enlightenment like social media and the Internet. They should also tackle corruption within environmental and building ministries and parastatals. 4 Likes |

YemyTemmy: Whether the flooding was caused by natural or man induced rain is not the issue here. The point is that you Yoruba are looking for cover to undo the Igbo in Lagos for no reason other than morbid and delusional fear that the " Igbo is taking over your land". Igbo cannot take over Yoruba land because it's not even possible. Neither is any Igbo man nursing such untoward feeling. 1 Like |
