Landmark Reopens After FG Demolished Beach Front Facilities by Sweetphronesis: 3:48am On May 07 |
The company posted this on their twitter page: "Landmark Lagos is Open for Business! ๐ Step into a world of endless possibilities at Landmark Lagos โ your ultimate destination for unforgettable experiences! Our doors are wide open, ready to welcome you to an experience like no other." It would be recalled that the companys CEO, Paul Onwuanibe, had earlier cried out in a Channels interview that his $100 million business investment was demolished in anticipation for the Lagos-Calabar coastal road. 10 Likes 1 Share

There was an uproar from public figures such as Rufai Oseni, Ohaneze, Maryanne Moghalu and Peter Obi. With many Nigerians stating the business was demolished for tribal reasons. https://www.nairaland.com/8078684/invest-lagos-own-peril-maryanne https://www.nairaland.com/8078849/rufai-oseni-blasts-fg-demolishing https://www.nairaland.com/8077917/peter-obi-vehemently-condemns-lagos-calabar 3 Likes 1 Share

Glad to know heโs back to business. The government only took the shorelines. I really hope this coastal road project gets completed at the stipulated time as planned (because the fear of many is that it might be abandoned along the line like other previous projects). If completed, It will also be an economic boast to the coastal towns around those areas where the road will pass through. Iโm not a fan of APC or Tinubu but I support this project. 33 Likes 2 Shares |

jmoore:Do you know Landmark was not originally a beach resort? Everything landmark built on the shores were without permission and illegal. Dude bought land then took the backyard belonging to his landlord for himself and then rented out part of it Now, Landmark is back to what it was designed to be 78 Likes 6 Shares |

You mean their $200 Million demolished property has suddenly resurrected? Awon oniro oshi. Always chasing stupid clouts with everything, thinking everybody is as dumb & gullible as their people who believed Buhari was a clone named Jubril El Sudani. Unlike some people, we magnify, investigate & filter any nonsense news before digesting it. 49 Likes 5 Shares |

So, they can still operate I was thinking the entire facilities is going down, and that caused the outcry. If it's just a portion , that doesn't even seems to affect major parts of their operations and they were compensated for the part affected.. Why the noise then 21 Likes 2 Shares |

It's high time Landmark come out and say the truth that their building was not affected by the the new highway. Instead of being allowed to be used by evil politicians 26 Likes |

baggioni: I think there should be a law that will award fine for any false alarm or accusation. None of Landmark's approved building was affected by the coastal road. But the man wants to continue having access to the beach at the back k of the building. Even when he knows that the FG owns the shore line. 38 Likes 3 Shares |
