I have packed my car since last year ever since the fuel increment
guobe:
I drove past a Mega petrol station just now and the queue I saw there shocked me.
Even big men with big jeeps are in the queue which is so long that even 4 hours will not be enough to get to your turn.

The current Government is presently humbling everybody that even its diehard supporters are currently in pains and seeking for succour.

The price of fuel at Mega petrol stations are cheaper than others who now sell for between 800 naira to 1000 naira.

Even with an increase in minimum wage ,a public servant will still spend all his money buying fuel if he owns a car and that is why most public servants have dropped their cars at home.

On the flip side, please everyone should take care of him or herself, eat healthy,go for exercise, relax when you need to and once in a while take yourself out.

Stay healthy and may God continue to bless us all.

Have you seen a reality of life of 1000 naira per liter of fuel before?
it's the new reality whether u agree or not, atleast until we have a working refinery .

The harsh fact is that almost all our neighbours are paying way above N1000.

Nigeria does not have the cash to keep fuel forever cheap. Make we be honest...this is not about agbado, and even the agbado government is spending trillions to avoid telling themselves the truth.

The painful thing is that if we cut government spending and stop the nasty corruption that is affecting us, the money raised won't be enough to pay for subsides long term. Also, the amount we earn from crude...80% of our earnings...is not enough.

Either we face the truth...or we keep throwing money down a bottomless pit.

We have been told repeatedly since the 1980's...we no wan hear.
None of our neighbors is a top petroleum producer. None of our neighbors has the biggest refinery in Africa.
Look something is very wrong.
Lastly do you know what happens whenever the price of fuel increases? Poverty increases, businesses fold, manufacturing suffers. We have the capacity to produce and sell cheap fuel but for corruption.

You don't even understand the point the Op is making, which is: because of the exorbitant price of fuel, even so called bigmen are ready to spend hours at fuel stations that are selling at affordable price of 650+ rather than enter without hassle and buy at those selling at 800-1k

Get serious, this isn't time for poems. The only reason why people are suffering is because the enemies of Nigeria are in power.

Jonathan's administration didn't perform half as badly as this, yet he was hounded out of that office.

Suddenly, everyone is quietly and sheepishly adjusting to a shocking and abnormal level of suffering never witnessed since the Civil war.

You Nigerians are weird, hypocritical and cowardly!!!

Let it get worse, at least it will reset the brains of those who are blinded by tribal or religious sentiments.

Just because a president is my tribe's man or of the same faith, doesn't stop me from criticizing when he makes stupid policies. Not doing that is a clear act of Zobeism.

It's not about Nigerians telling themselves the truth...!

Have those in charge of the nation ever come out clean about the way forward??!

I have said it time and again that the Petroleum sector is long overdue for total deregulation.

But, when you fail to be transparent with leadership, there can be no headway.

These theories and realities we talk about here are alien noise to the average Nigerian citizen out there.

Let your leaders come out clean, they refused.

Same thing with Power supply and the national currency.

You can't cover a wound forever.

An important question no one seems to be asking is why Dangote refinery is selling diesel and aviation fuel locally and the other derivatives are not sold here, what happened to those other derivatives like petrol, gas lubrication oil and the rest, from my little knowledge of chemistry, when refining crude all this other byproducts must be gotten from the process. Someone is hiding a truth, cause I am yet to understand it

But you protested when GEJ mulled the idea of removing it in 2012. How many of your neighbours have crude oil like you? What is the corruption index of your country compared with your neighbours? Why are your refineries not working?

but is the train working in this country and secondly as a civil servant did you know how much they will be spending on transportation every month?
