Amigoss: Your mouth is not good. 😂😂 I don't mind Muslimah dressings sha (minus the Eleha one). I find them beautiful and classy in an understated way. I only like them as a personal fashion statement, not a religious one. Besides, Alhaji Oasis doesn't seem like a fundamentalist to me, so I know he'll not be imposing any type of clothing on me. 1 Like 1 Share |

TemporaryHansel: Ergonomics. Israel is a small and vulnerable country. In a war they would have nowhere to retreat to, so they must win the first battle Most countries that won wars retreated far into their own territory before reorganising and counterattacking. Israel does not have that luxury due to their size. In addition they value their citizens life on the same level as developed countries so most of their aid is on missile defence to prevent casualties All these countries where life is meaningless are ready to throw humans after humans at the matter till they achieve victory. For Western nations, once 10,000 done die, their appetite for war go quench whilst all dem Russia, Iran, China will lose 10 million people and nothing spoil. Iran showed they are ready to lose from 500,000 to a million people in their war with Iraq. If Israel lose just 200,000 people, they would quit. A quarter of Israelis have dual citizenship, na dem go first run, while the other 75% will be given asylum in any Western country of their choice based on WW2 guilt. Life too soft. 2 Likes |

BREAKING: House of Representatives has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to immediately halt the implementation of the cybercrime levy introduced by the apex bank in compliance with the provisions of the cybercrime Act. The House said the circular by the apex bank was prone to misinterpretation by Nigerians as it negates the spirit and letters of section 44(2a) of the cybercrime Act which specify those who are expected to pay the levy. Adopting a motion of urgent public importance moved by Minority Leader, Kingsley Chinda (PDP, Rivers) on behalf of the entire members, the House asked the Central Bank to immediately withdraw it’s earlier circular on the implementation of the levy and issue another circular in love with the provisions of the Act. Chinda said section 44(2a) of the cybercrime act listed those to pay the stipulated fees as GSM abd telecom companies, Internet providers, Banks and other financial institutions, insurance companies and Stocks Exchange. 1 Like |

OasisX: Peter obi has become an empty noisemaker pandering to the obidient mob. He has been chairman of a bank, he has been a state governor, but he is yammering like a stark illiterate Tech worldwide are laying off like no man's business. We have discussed it here extensively. It is not so much about Nigeria's economy as it is about downsizing. Which is why I was telling someone that imho tech don cast. It is no longer secure and guaranteed employment. Google and Microsoft have been laying off like it's going out of fashion Peter obi knows this. But he has to pander to the Mob. Bitter obi is the wrong name. Little obi is better. Like chicken little he keeps shouting the sky is falling 3 Likes |

GloriousGbola: Bros, Peter Obi is just doing what opposition are known for all over the world; latch on to an issue and pin it on the incumbent government. It is now left for the incumbent government to either explain its way out of the issue, fault the opposition's blame-game, or out rightly claim such issue is out of their hands . The issue here is : Microsoft is downsizing. Nigeria economy is currently not doing so great and Peter Obi as the opposition leader has latched on it to claim the mishandling of the economy is one of the reasons Microsoft is downsizing. It has nothing to do with whether Peter Obi is a stark illiterate or doing empty noise making. We were all alive when majority of people who later formed the APC coalition campaigned against fuel subsidy removal. The protest had professors, captains of industry, economists, pastors, lawyers, politicians, etc. Few years after Kayode Fayemi a PHD holder told us they actually knew what they were doing that time. They knew fuel subsidy had to go but they weaponized the protests against its removal. That's what opposition do. Sometimes opposition will make issue out of non-issue. We've seen it happened before in this country 10 Likes |

There is level to Bitterness I swear...but the good thing is Bitter Obi doesn't really know about the existence of people that are almost drown by the level of bitterness in their stomach... liveLongNprospa: i will repeat what i posted earlier today anyone who actually follows tech news will have noticed that they are laying off and shutting down right left and centre https://www.analyticsinsight.net/layoffs/surging-tech-layoffs-2024-what-can-be-the-possible-reasons https://techcrunch.com/2024/05/07/tech-layoffs-2023-list/ when they tell you to read beyond twitter, it is always too much for you to do. i doubt if you have anything in your mail feed outside of protein shakes supplements anyway if any of the successful studios microsoft axed had been based in africa, little obi would have been shouting and his dull mob would have been echoing - as is expected 3 Likes

BlueRayDick: we have gone over the subsidy under GEJ multiple times there is no need to rehash how it ballooned [ over 300% in 12 months ] under gej, and how he failed to punish any of the brief case company perpetrators, but rather chose to punish nigerians for his own mess. the entire subsidy fiasco was an own goal in a field of own goals you work in a structured environment - if a massive fraud involving staff monthly fuel allowance was discovered in your company, with a detailed paper trail to identify the perpetrators, would you 1) punish the perpetrators or 2) cancel the fuel allowance? as you agree that microsoft is downsizing, irrespective of the situation in nigeria, i guess there is not much to argue about there 2 Likes |

We must not forget that Peter Obi is one of the reasons we are where we are today. Assuming Peter Obi didn’t contest, Atiku would’ve defeated the leprous Tinubu very convincingly, and nobody would’ve to deal with Tinubu’s expired brain. Atiku would’ve never been this worse. The president that never was. 😭😭😭 Peter Obi and his supporters will forever be hunted by that move they made which enabled the wicked party APC to cling to power. 1 Like |
