Usefulsense: Oga rest, which one is imagine a financial controller. Is it about the job title or position, or is it about the financial reward which in turn gives financial freedom and good standard of living? You know what it is all about, a governor, hor member, senator etc won't relocate from Nigeria even if he gets the visa on a platter, and I believe you know why? So because you were making at max #1m per month, which is #12m yearly, you feel you don become big man for Nigeria? Dey make times 5 or more of that and we still feel like we are not yet a "big man." Well people are different sha. Using today's standard, oga you are not a big man anything. Na now you get opportunity to become a rich successful man, and I hope you make proper and good use of it. I wish you success. 2 Likes |

DrAkpamudehe: Overstaying a visa is not wickedness. What oyinbos did and still do to native Australians is wickedness. Neocolonialism forcing Nigerians to overstay somewhere is wickedness. Which Nigerian actually wants to live in oyinbo countries? They want to leave the conditions neocolonialism creates. 1 Like |

koning: ₦1million = 650USD as of today. With $650 in Nigeria you can live good amidst crushing poverty and insecurity, have servants and access to plenty of sex partners of dubious quality. Hmmmm, been there done that, it's tempting sha, for real. But it's $650.....this is just too bad. Na wa o!!!! For $650 !!!! Lord, Deliver Me From Temptation....Amen!!! This is why I pray for the naira to recover, the temptation is tooooo muuuuchhhh cc Oga Gerrard, I see melon farms everywhere Good Luck to Nigeria. 1 Like |

Kizzygentle: Australia has banned Nigerians from getting student visa. Even their universities won’t accept you because you’re a Nigerian. This ban just passed like one month ago. This’s due to Australia realizing that Nigerians are only interested in staying in the country and not studying |

AngelicBeing: Yes o, it's like people don't actually take a little time to THINK and process the enormity of it all. In fact I casually mentioned it to a family member this morning, a hour or so ago and they were shocked...asking...are you sure? Then a really deep insight..."well actually a person earning that amount in Nigeria will live about the same as a person earning that amount here in America" Very good insight, perfect translation! Goes to how easy it is to earn the money!!! Now go through the posts here and see how Nigerian residents go into heavenly orgasms over someone earning ₦1 million per month, that gives some passing credibility to the systematic surveys that show only 0.4% of Nigerians earn over ₦200K per month. Yes the surveys were years ago, let's say that figure has doubled to ₦500K . It means that likely less than 0.5% of Nigerians earn over $300 per month. And someone thinks it's OK to give up an Anglo-Western work permit and stay in Nigeria instead and earn 650USD per month. Well, madness comes in different forms. Me sef don dey craze, I think I'm going back to Nigeria to start a melon farm. I know I will have many customers. cc Oga Gerrard. Good Luck to Nigeria. 2 Likes |

IbeOkehie:Going to start a farm in Nigeria 🍈? Huh, how and which Farm? The farm surrounded by Fulani bandits and different terrorist groups in different parts of the country Nigeria to me personally is beyond redemption until proper restructuring is done but the criminals in Abuja are not ready nor willing to effect that kind of change , so the country will likely remain in the wilderness for so long and might likely not get to her Canaanland., as for other things you pointed out in your post, l do agree but come to think of it what is 1 or 2 million naira when you have a life threatening sickness? What is 2 or 3 million naira and be living in fear of Robber's, kidnappers and terrorist? What is 2 or 5 million naira when you are scared of driving from Lagos to Kano via road or Lagos to Onitsha via road simply because either bad roads/ robbers/ terrorist or bandits can end your life within a twinkle of an eye, anyway to each is own , l will continue to be a visitor to Nigeria from afar sipping my Starbucks coffee ☕ while l Wish Nigeria well 1 Like |
