don't worry your interview date will come. And for my 2nd interview I really can't say maybe they weren't satisfied with something

Please what was the questions asked during your second interview?
Re: General German Work And Family Re-union Visa Enquiries by VERASONDUBABE: 8:05pm On Apr 19
Some questions are what you have been asked in the first interview while some are very funny and out of point. You have to prepare very well

Hello,

I will like to get a few information on the documents you had to provide to your wife which she used to kickstart the verification process from Germany and the possible cost incurred when starting the verification from Germany. I will appreciate it If you can share an email address where I can reach you on.

Thanks

Hi Nairalanders, I would like to know if anyone here, has gotten an invitation for german work visa interview, how it was like, the processes involved and questions being asked.
I have applied since May last year and am waiting to be contacted for interview. Hence my reason for asking to be better prepared.

Thanks.

Hello house, i am a single parent studying in Germany. (never married). please I would like your kind advice on bringing my child to join me. His father supports this and is ready to give a full custody certificate. I booked my child's appointment May 12, 2023. I can see that its still a bit far off to expect a visa appointment date for my child. please, i would like to know how to open a blocked account for a dependent child, and how much is expected to be put in there.

Thank you all for your kind anticipated response.

It is wrong to make such a bogus assumption. There are lots of women who file for their husbands to join them when they get there the same way there are lots of men who refuse to bring their wife and kids to join them. Please stop making women out to be bad people. My younger brother's wife filed for him to join her in the UK and he now has a job as a senior BA. And this is one of many people i personally know who filled for their husbands to join them.

i know ure lying about the bolded but continue

It is not a bogus assumption..
Madam dis women are no up to 1 percent what are you saying.. Men who did and are still doing it are more than 80%..look at this thread from beginning.. How many men are on the reunion applications as the spouse being brought over in comparison to the women? Is it not clear as daylight that you cant even compare? Ist in us, uk, eu countries, Australia, canada etc are women not the dominant majority being brought over.. You yourself can u leave Nigeria and a guy you are dating without jobwhen u left, you come back u and him will marry and u take him over or are u likely to marry someone else with job, and u boyfriend in Nigeria will become a jobless no level guy to you? But many guys have done exactly that and are still doing it.. What i said is a fact.. Women who did wat u said in Nigeria are not up to 0.5% so what exactly are you saying? You are proof of some women selfishness.. Instead of acknowledging the sacrifices of the men, you want to dismiss it as nothing so that everyone else sees it as nothing, yet it is something u yourself can never do for someone... You sound as unappreciative person... Acknowledge that man.. He went through a lot and gave out a lot to bring you over.. Or put u on that path.. As for the 0.5% of women that did it, did u see anywhere men have said it is nothing or try to reduce it to the level you are doing? Must you people drag yourself into anything that looks like it wants to benefit a man.. Yet u want to keep all benefit to yourself.. If u bring up child bearing.. No man will trivialize it but see how u rush to attempt to rubbish sacrifices of people who gave up many things for u... Seriously u appear not to make a grateful person... How u are not planning to say it is nothing tomorrow for the person, you and am dey do.. Dis 1 u have started trivializing from today... Learn to look from an appreciative perspective

You are obviously bitter and angry about something that clearly has nothing to do with me because you do not know me. I just wanted you to acknowledge the fact that you were making women out to be bad in your first comment - which was unnecessary. I could not read all of your lenghty ramblings. Let's stick to why we are on this forum and resist the urge to disparage a group of people. Peace.

I did not make women bad, i am not responsible for u understood it.. I was talking about a dominant population of the Nigerian women population... Which i stand to be corrected what i said is not a fact... Its ur issue how u understand it

Many of us saw that post but decided to ignore it and refused to make that topic popular on this thread . That's not why we are here. This thread is for German family reunion and not gender wars. We reject any for of discord on here like as seen in other threads. Please leave the person with his or her vague assumptions.

Lmaooo, look at you crying because you'll never measure up to the men that women take abroad. Now I'm even more convinced you're more than just jobless. You'd better go and wash your head in the river before you die a miserable death. But I'm sure that would be a relief because you're already living a miserable life. Get your life together, dude, and stop crying over women who've done nothing to you.

Finally my wife and daughter got the Family Reunion visa to join me in Germany.

Below is the detailed process

6th May, 2022: We applied for visa appointment

July 10, 2023: We wrote the embassy asking for expedited process as we were expecting our baby but we received the usual email that they have numerous applications and shortage of staff.

July 21, 2023: Wifey got a mail for visa appointment

14th August, 2023: Appointment date, everything was provided including 180k for verification but it was skipped by the VO; we had a missing document (my blue card). I had gotten a job then but was still using my student residence permit waiting for the appointment at the ABH to change it in order to get a new work/residence permit.
NB: We also informed the embassy of my wife's possibility of putting to bed before the visa is issued and they asked us to inform them as soon as the baby arrives and to submit the baby's application indicating my wife's application number so that the could add it up to my wife's application. This was handy as it reduced the waiting time for the baby.

26th October, 2023: Our princess arrived, we equally informed the embassy a few days later.

6th November, 2023: Blue card was submitted to the embassy. we were given until October 30, 2023 to submit this, but wasn't possible as appointment with the ABH could not be accelerated. But in all the waiting time, we kept the embassy updated with the whole situation.

6th December, 2023: Baby's application was initiated, with her passport data page and birth cert properly attached as required.

7th December, 2023: Got a mail at my address to submit the usual documents (Payslips, house contract, job contracts etc) to the ABH

8th December, 2023: Got appointment mail from the Embassy for our daughters visa interview

18th December, 2023: Submitted all the necessary documents to the ABH

8th January, 2024: Went for the Visa interview of our baby girl

5th February, 2024: Embassy requested for NPC birth certificate of our baby, we asked them to check in their custody, we submitted the said document on the interview date as we had no missing document for our daughter.

13th February, 2024: Went to the ABH in my Stadt to sign the VerpflichtungserklÀrung (sponsorship declaration for my wife and baby)

15th February, 2024: Approval Mail to submit passport for Visa

28th February, 2024: Passport and travel insurance was sent to the Embassy.

21st March, 2024: Received passport with visa via DHL

Glory be to God.

It was a lengthy process but with patience and the grace of God, success will be achieved. All the best to everyone still in the process. Feel free to contact me, if you need any suggestion/advice.

Please I need your input on this. Who can tell me the meaning of this. What could be the issue:

“The above-mentioned application to issue a visa for the purpose of family reunification, more precisely spousal reunification with your German spouse, is rejected for the following reasons:
Despite repeated requests and over a period of three years, we have not yet received the required response from the Munich immigration authorities involved in accordance with Section 31 Paragraph 1 Sentence. 1 No. 1
Residence Act received. The application must therefore be rejected.
The remaining grant requirements have not been finalized. Your original documents submitted to the Consulate General Lagos will be returned to you enclosed with this letter.”
