Thank you for the detailed explanation, wife is okay according to the test carried out last year.
We don't mind sperm donor if that will help to increase the chance...We can't just afford the cost of IVF for now.
If you have enough sperm and your wife has good AMH, you can try medicated IUI. Your wife will be monitored and given Letrozole.

Hi mama, I had 2 failed ivf cycle because of this. fluid will need to be drained. Also you need to find out what is causing the excess fluid production and retention. In my case, I had issues caused by scar tissues from previous myomectomy and other procedures + I had polyps. I was also reacting to progynova (causing me to produce excess fluids) and the fluids weren't flowing out properly because of the scar tissues. I have 2 hysteroscopies ( to clear scar tissues and take out polyps) and a catheterization procedure before my last successful ivf.

Congratulations. Where did you do the catheterization and IVF?

Which clinics are responsive to patients, have good patient care and good success rates in IVF?
Being organised and responsive on the phone is important please.
I don't want a clinic that is difficult to reach on the phone. I'm not currently in Nigeria so I need to be able to have consultations and follow up etc on the phone not only in person.

*Series of Hysteroscopy for small fibroids removal and scar. This took a period of almost one year to get a go ahead for the Procedure yet after the whole stress it came out Negative.
Embryo test attached.

We thank God for everything and we pray God grant all TTC their hearts desires in Jesus name Amen

Use Clover hospital in wuse 2.

You know I recommend them? The doctor is not after your money, like she is passionate about her job and her aim is just to have a success. People in my group all had a positive result. In my own case, when she saw I had fluid in my Endometrium, she paused on the ET, and, had my embryo frozen. While we focus on solving the fluid issue, when we are done, I will continue my treatment. (Which I am positive that I will give birth to twins.)

She is just too sincere.

Amen, thanks ma

It is well, if possible change your clinic and try again. Some of these ivf clinics are only interested in your money, they do not care about the success of the ivf,no empathy at all, They know there is a problem with their clinic but they wont let yo know but allow you wallow in self blame for the negative outcome.

There are cheap ivf clinic where u pay as low as 1m for IVF aside tests and registration. Like primecare in Abuja. There is no clinic that will collect less than 500-1m, in Lag for IUI so do the maths. With donor sperm, that's additional expenses so add like extra 100-200k. If u hav LSC my brother face IVF so u dont waste that money cos as explained earlier by others, IUI is same thg as stimulating ovulation ursef and timed intercourse to insert the sperm. Only difference might be the washing of the sperm which u cant do urself at home. How old is ur wife? If she's less than 34 years tell her to do what we call local IUI. Take 1 clomid for 5 days starting from day 2 of her period. Start monitoring with TV scan from day 10 to check size of every 2 days eggs. By day 14 or 15 when egg is up to 18-20mm, take hcg to induce ovulation and insemination takes place at home. She can try the insemination cup or u sleep wt her. Try this back to back for 4 days. She might be lucky to hav result and u won't spend more than 100k for this. But if u want to do it at a fertility center hold minimum 500k. All the best

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for all the insights and experiences shared here.

I wonder if anyone has had any experience with having fluid in the lining of the womb and still had a successful embryo transfer. If otherwise, how were you able to navigate the presence of fluid and had a good outcome?

Thank you.

So today I got a failed ivf result and I have been more that broken..
I started having the symptoms 10 years back but I did not know what is was so I kept going from hospital to hospital and they were all telling me it's small fibroid and I shouldn't worry about it but I was worried because of the symptoms..so many hospitals tagged it different things but nobody actually knew what it was..
People should be worried when doctors tell them it's just small fibroid there is nothing to worry about.

So fast forward to when I got married I and my husband started trying and pregnancy was happening so we went to meet a gynecologist(vedam Owerri)here in owerri to start ivf procedure since I wasn't getting pregnant and the doctor said I should go for a surgery that it was a fibroid so we agreed and I had a major surgery..it was after he opened me up that he found out it is adenomyosis so he did incision surgery to cut some part of it out...after that he started giving me lupron monthly injection so after taking the lupron for 4 months and we were about to start the ivf he told me I should use egg donor and I said no and my husband doesn't want it too(I'm 39 this june)so he started giving me high dose of menopur(450mg)and it increases estrogen in the body which feeds adenomyosis so I think that made my adenomyosis get worst and usually my period comes with water..

After egg retrieval we got only 4 eggs because the lupron shut down my ovaries..we got 1 blastocyst/2 normal embryo and 1second grade and we transferred the 4 of them..when I went for blood test it came out negative and I have been so down..

I think the right procedure is to have done egg retrieval before the surgery then followed by lupron for 4 months and a little amount of estrogen( menopur)rather than feeding my adenomyosis again with 450mg after down regulation..I will cry it out and I will be fine.

The mean reason I'm here is to know if there is a way someone here have reduced her adenomyosis and gotten pregnant with ivf or naturally..I will appreciate if someone can introduce me to what she used and got pregnant?please dont advertise the drugs you are selling to me please..tell me what worked for you let me look for a way to get it..I dont mind the local herbs too..

Again which hospital have you used in Anambra/imo/ph and it worked for you and your group people perfectly not a place someone told you about because that is what got me to where I am at the moment..
Thanks for your responses..

Sis, I'm so sorry about your experience. Well, there is no good fertility clinic in owerri, vadem isn't even one, I'm surprised U used them for IVF, everyone I know that lives in owerri went to either Lagos, pH asaba or owerri for their IVF procedure, this doctor would have ordered an hysteroscopy that would have discovered everything happening in your womb before outlining a treatment plan.
We are currently on our IVF cycle in primecare fertility clinic Abuja, we live in owerri. There are great hospitals in abuja, primecare, diff, private. Lagos st ives, fertilaid, gynescope lekki, nordica, olive.. for pH, gynescope is a very good one too for asaba, mother Theresa is there.. owerri isn't it at all.

Wow..all the way?I'm wishing you success..

How did you do accommodation?I want to see if I can talk to my husband so we can do the next one in Abuja..can I get the contact of your doctor is they allow that so I can communicate with him/her and know the next step to take..

Almost everyone that went for ivf in vedam didnt get positive result and I fear he hasn't made my adenomyosis worst than it was..

I will advice that you take care of underlying issues first, before proceeding for IVF, IVF is too expensive not to be prepared, the doc we use Dr ese is very detailed, even will treat all underlying issues before suggesting IVF. So I believe it's best to be patient and not rush into it. Baby dust to you. Check 0.8.0.9 5.1.5 9.6.8.1. primecare hospital. But again, gynescope is another great hospital with very good success rate..
Again, please focus on treating underlying issues and preparing yourself before beginning

got tired of trying on my own and decided to go further. I decided to try fertility treatments. And opted for IUI -Intrauterine Insemination. I made my findings looking for a reputable hospital with a record for successful IUI not just IVF. Towerofgrace's testimony of using St. Ives, Ikoyi branch, Lagos and getting bfp gingered me. I found others who had successful IUI too with them. So I went to them- St.Ives Ikoyi branch.
Ikeja headquarters was nearer to me but I opted for the particular branch where I had heard real life IUI success experiences of mamas here.

Hiya Sis, how are you doing, Just came online now after a long hiatus and saw your comments, trust everything went well and our little miracle is bouncing already.

Stay blessed sis

Hello ma’am , hope this meet you well, sorry to take you back, did you use these two supplements together or either of these?

And dosage ma. Thank you so much
I used just this Theranatal. I was supposed to use both together as prescribed but the other one turned my stomach so bad that I abandoned it and it’s 3 big pills per dose.

If u were in the US, I would have shipped it to u. It expires end of the year. It’s annoyingly expensive and uncomfortable to consume.

My dr said they have an improved brand of it now and it’s just one pill but I ain’t using that product no more.
