All I will say is his policies are very unfriendly to the citizens. I have NEVER seen food inflation so high before in Nigeria, never, the actual inflation figure is more like 200%+ and not the headline 33% we see. Imagine prices increasingly doubling in a matter of weeks, very unfortunate. Floating the naira was one of his greatest undoing, it wasn't thought through at all. Even his fan boys on nairaland know the situation is dire but shame won't let them admit it. They will rather be expending energy calling Obi left right and centre than face the person responsible for Nigeria's current economic situation. 1 Like |

Any Nigerian President that sidelines Igbos must fail economically, and failure of a government starts from the economy and spread to other sectors. Tinubu ought to have studied this trend and avoided it, but his nepotism and nepotistic supporters and handlers misled him into making Igbos his number one enemy just like Buhari did and failed woefully. It is an ordinance from above, it is spiritual, sideline Igbos as a President and be prepared to fail! 2 Likes |

Negative 7. 💔💔😔 The country's economy took a nosedive for the worse from the moment he made that unfortunate inaugural speech. And his handlers have only been making things worse for him, channeling all their creativity and strength in discrediting their perceived opponents. I pray that Nigeria recovers and prospers again 🙏 1 Like |

Tinubu and APC as a party has failed Nigerians. Their intention is just to grab the power and run with it. No blueprint or plan on how to govern Nigeria. |

seunayantokun: So how did PDP use the same constitution to achieve a better performance than APC? That means your excuse for Tinubu's failure is out of place, it simply means the people that are voted into office are more of the problem and the constitution is less of the problem. There is no perfect Constitution in the world, not even in America, but the people that are voted into office can either make that constitution work for or against the people.... Let me give you an example, transfer all present Nigerian leaders today to USA to run their government for the next 4 years with their constitution and watch USA crumble in the next 4 years, then do the same with USA leaders in Nigeria with our constitution and watch Nigeria improve in the next 4 years.... So your analogy is highly flawed when trying to defend the failures of the leaders using the constitution only, it is mainly voting in wrong leaders that has put this country where it it today and sadly certain regions have been mainly responsible for doing that, reason why I am in full support of breaking up the country to make regions have their own country because our ideologies are not the same especially when picking leaders except if something changes. 3 Likes |

My Appraisal of President Tinubu: 1. Education: 6/10 . The first year has seen a peaceful atmosphere in our education sector. There has been no industrial actions and to cap it all, the outstanding payments to the university and polytechnic workers are cleared or ongoing. 2. Defence: 7/10 . Although there are pockets of insurrections here and there but there has been a visible achievements in the North and South. 3. Agriculture: 4/10. The major Flashpoint of inflation in Nigeria is food inflation. One would have expected the ministry to reduce the Inflation but nothing much has been seen. 4. Transportation: 4/10. The ministry performed below average. The only achievement was the Port Harcourt to Aba. 5. Works : 9.5/10. The ministry has covered more areas and the quality is top notch. The minister is audacious and working the talking. 6. FCT: 9.5/10. The minister demonstrated that his mojo is still active. He was able to cover more roads and the icing was the light rail. 7. Interior : 8/10. The ministry was the early flasher of the government. The clearance of the passport backlogs and the airport immigration automation. 8. Finance : 6/10. The ministry was able to introduce some reforms which gave confidence to investors as evidenced in over subscription of bonds. 9. Health: 6/10. The ministry has not done much in the are area of tangible infrastructures but the policies are okay and expected to be the headliner of the administration in the second year. 10. Blue Economy: 3/10. The prospect of the ministry has not been tapped and the minister looks missing 11. Steel Development: 2/10. Despite having the job narrowed to Ajaokuta as a pilot program. The minister has not been coherent about his vision or knowledge about what the ministry entails. To be continued. |
