Not in all cases you will be ask to show POF at port of entry, but it is same amount your sponsor show during your study permit application. shinaxurdick: |

My undergraduate son got approved last October and travelled 4 weeks ago. Toronto Pearson was POE. He was not asked to show any document just LOI and passport with visa. He was given study permit without any question. However months before then, he has been coached severally how to answer any questions. To avoid any issue, First semester tuition was paid and receipt obtained from the school. I also printed soft copies of all the POF document used for the application last October and also requested a reference letter and updated statement from the bank showing some funds, but far lesser than the one initially submitted. Bottom line, prepare well and cover all geound8, but you might be lucky nothing will be asked. quote author=shinaxurdick post=130013626]Good morning everyone, Please can someone advice on the amount to be in my sponsor account at the port of entry.. i was told i will be asked to show my proof of fund.. my program is 2 years. The signatures are adding up. Let's make this a reality So, I created a petition that seeks to end the rip-off IELTS keeps perpetrating with the 2-year validity of their test results, particularly for high scorers who scored btw Band 8-9. Surely, someone who got a band 9 shouldn't, wouldn't, couldn't have lost the skill that earned him/her a band 9 after two years. Pls join the petition and let's make this change happen. Share across all platforms, as millions stand to benefit. Lifetime validity of test results! https://www.change.org/LifetimeValidity4IELTSresults 1 Like |

TradeSunMoore: .Hello, new student coming to Canada. Please prepare how you will pay your school fees. The current job situation in Canada is critical in 2024, and you cannot depend on working in Canada to pay your school fees. It is so sad that after wasting time and money, many nigerian students cannot afford school fees and drop out of school to claim asylum, which the government has been cracking down on. Let’s be guided! 6 Likes |

Hello All, I am writing on behalf of my friend, we would greatly appreciate if anyone can urgently assist in responding to this inquiry. So my friend already submitted her application for student visa, she didn’t do upfront medical. After she submitted, we went and did the medicals, she received document number 1, that is the proof of medicals done, (please note that, she didn’t receive notification from IRCC to do this), she is not in Nigeria, so the medical was done within 2 days and sent to the embassy, the doctor sent her the document with the completed medicals. (Let’s call this document number 2) So the question now is, she wants to complete a web form and submit the medical document to ircc, which of the above documents should she send to IRCC, document 1 or 2? Also, can someone please post the web form. Thank you all so much in advance. |

Hi gurus! Good day to y'all, I've a question to ask. My old bank account had some issues and I had to open a new one January this year. However, I was refused study permit in March and I had to defer my program to April semester 2025 and edit my GIC to suit my new program. Now my question is can I use the account I just opened in January to show POF? I'm hoping to reapply again soon,by September/October. Thank you so much y'all |

Hi fams, please who knows how long it takes Keyano college to respond after paying/applying for admission? Also, I will be sponsoring myself and would want to know if statement from a euro account (Virtual account) i have with an App can be used as proof of fund? Lastly, I have a remote job in UK do you think is nice I state that in my LOE when applying to IRCC, if they can consider giving me study permit knowing I am working remotely for a company in another country. Thanks for your swift response! |
