We can do better but the looters called politicians can't see far except their forsaken pot bellies. They place more importance on their stomach rather than the people.

Reason why Tinubu is ready to offer peanut for minimum wage but his children are traveling the world up and down.

The Elders have failed Nigeria

The building in number 1 spot is just an empty shell that is still living on past glory.

That building should be torn down to make room for something else if they can't get it to work undecided

So after 45 years, no administration has been able to come up with a taller building. I think we have really poor culture when it comes to maintenance of infrastructure in Nigeria. There is absolutely almost nothing that our leaders are positively good at.

In terms of infrastructural development, Nigeria has a loooong way to go...
In terms of numbers of Skyscraper of countries in Africa, Nigeria lags really behind...
For a country with largest population...
Even government sef can't build these to solve housing issues...
Even no steady light to power the building elevator...

It is well...

I don't really think it's a good idea to setup tall buildings in Nigeria.
I get the idea that
1. it saves ground area.
2. It's some sort of prestige bullshit.
-
But this building needs to transport both people and water to the top floors
And so far, the way to do this is with electricity.
Electric motors running the lift.
Electric motors running the water pumps.
In this country, Nigeria, infamous for No electricity, you've just setup yourself to be screwed big time.
The buildings will be so expensive to run.
Our office is in a tall building, many other offices have vacated the building. We too would soon be leaving.
Expenses for nothing.
