“During the inspection, the books were stored under the jumpseat, as it is commonly practised. We understand the inspector’s preference for the books to be placed behind the captain and have ensured this preference is accommodated for all operations going forward.

“There was also a concern about the captain’s choice of runway exit after landing. Instead of exiting at the middle runway exit, the captain, out of his professional discretion, opted to exit at the end of the runway.

“This may have delayed the arrival of another aircraft. We acknowledge this deviation and have addressed the matter with the captain to ensure adherence to preferred exit procedures in the future.

“Ramp Inspection is a normal procedure carried out by aviation authorities globally, and the UKCAA did the right thing by notifying the NCAA of the outcome of their inspection.

“However, we are shocked to see several media publications with exaggerated and sensationalised accounts of this matter that were closed with the authorities over a month ago.”

Air Peace said its safety record is second to none, adding that it complies with all established safety standards.

There's a communication gap somewhere which the airline has to bridge. A robust line of communication backed up with documented evidence have to be created to prevent these sorts of situations and doubts next time.

Most international businesses (or multinational companies) experience snafus, and misrepresentations from time to time due to country-specific cultural differences or different work ethics in every country of the world. So, the publications of timely press releases by the professional PR teams of companies are very important for dispelling FALSE rumors (there are true rumors and false rumors).

Henceforth, I will fly Air Peace. Nothing concern me with foreign Airline. Since they want to deliberately sabotage our indigenous airline.

Succinctly stated here.

The routine Ramp Inspection of the airline's wet leased Boeing 777 took place on April 7, 2024 and all the serious issues raised were allegedly cleared by the airline over one month ago.

Someone who is an insider leaked the UKCAA document sent to the NCAA to the Nigerian press who then proceeded to publish it and some of them blew things off by using sensational headlines without giving the airline the right of defense.

In crime investigations, all perspectives are looked at with a bird's eye view because the leakage of the UKCAA document could have come from anywhere. Even an insider from within the airline could have done the document leakage so to generate sympathies or a publicity buzz using some kind of reverse psychology.

In any event, the press release by the airline is okay and lessons have to be learned by everyone to always carry out fact-checks from here on out.

It's not hatred. Hatred stems from a wrong motivating it. These people are mentally ill and/or r3t4rded because their feelings have no logical reason. They're like animals with rabies.

I want black people to start using different terms to describe these things. Just that simple choice of language can distort what's really happening, and then that language shapes our views, discussions, and actions.
That's deep.

Most Nigerians can't even for once defend their own.
They went about accusing the airline of cutting corners without hearing from them first not knowing that many airlines are angry that they came on board.

How much was air travel from Naija to London direct flight? 3m plus but now u can get it for 700k all thanks to airpeace. Suddenly British Airways and others realised that Nigeria is not difficult getting their naira converted to dollars again which is their reason of charging us twice what they charge from Cotonou to London even though we still paid in naira.

God will judge them

I believe Air Peace has been duly defended, going by the comments I have read here so far. We just need to keep supporting and propagating the Air Peace airline. That Onyeama is rare breed. A fantastic statements man and a great Patriot and business man. They (UK) will give him a lot of problems but can't run him down, when we keep supporting and promoting him.

The English press with racial bigotry/supremacist, wanton hatred and fear of their former colonies competing or overshadowing them in any strata of human development is really morbid.

All the beef against Allen Onyema's Air Peace inaugural flight to Gatwick was compounded by the Prince and Duchess recent visit to Nigeria. God will continue to vindicate His own.

I just hope Nigerians learn from this and stop our colo-mentality. Giving our children European names, speaking fake foreign accents always preferring foreign this and foreign that etc etc. These people do not like us nor do they want the best for us. Their progress is dependent on our lack of progress.

Colonialism ended 64 years ago.

The British media are nothing but govt attack dogs who deceive their citizens more than they inform them. Leaking a report that has already been addressed a forth night ago can only be to attack the huge publicity advantage that Airpeace just garnered by ferrying the Sussexes safely to & fro Nigeria. These racist journalists are about to learn that despite the poor quality of leadership in this country, Nigerians are different from any other African nationality in one respect, they will never backdown in the face of intimidation! One of those armchair experts that called Nigeria a Nazi state has already locked his X account. Ona go lock acct tire by the time Nigerians commence their own analysis! cool

British are wicked and we know they don't like blacks.

Any ban on Air Peace is a ban on BA.

Because its Allen onyema that is involved here.

The other time they claimed Nigeria was not entitled to a royal visit ,you celebrated them because you hate the president.

It has everything to do with Prince and Duchess visits. Yes, letter was sent on the 7th of April, but it was immediately clarified and resolved. So why are they bringing it up again now? I need you to read between the lines. Why is it that after Prince and Duchess visits they decided to accuse Airpeace of breaching safety procedures?
Bro, the truth is that they feel threatened by Airpeace and for the fact that Prince decided to use Airpeace airline made them to be more envious and jealous Q

I can remember these same white devils launched all sorts of media tirades against India when they landed their unmanned mission to the dark side of the moon. Come and see bashing from them on India for achieving what they have not achieved.

And what are you insinuating here - Air Peace should be crucified or sanctioned, abi?

The problem with many of you is your poverty level and you do not see anything good from a progressive mind or enterprise. Your hate of Bring Him Down (PHD) syndrome Will not hamper or demystify operations of Air peace.
After all,you can't afford cheapest airfare.

Air Peace should be supported in times like this when their operations is hampering the excessive exploitation of Nigerian air travellers by foreign airlines.
