Last week Wednesday,I was approached by an agent of Cashlawn, 2 of them to be specific, with the number +234 814 575 6228 and +234 916 842 5606.

To get access to a sum hundred thousands(100k) for a period of 3 month with 10 thousand naira interest.

I was attracted to the offer and went on to download the Apps and fill out the form as required. To my surprise, each one didn't meet the quota as promised that was mentioned before I downloaded the app.

At the end of the registration, on the first app CASH Express I was offered #5, 130 to pay #9, 945 under 1 week, immediately I told the agent this isn't our agreement and he pleaded that I won't get that amount, gave me another app Mintbag also a quota of 7,980 to pay 15,274 I was already getting upset he pleaded with enough apology and again gave me cashtree which also offered #5,130 to pay back #9,819. I was naive attracted to the opportunity that would bring for me. For the other number, the approach and conduct was non challant I just didn't bother, to download any after the first, she called me on phone call, I answered and I declined sharply which resulted to playing pity card that she was trying to help.


All of this happened on Wednesday afternoon from around 12pm -3pm for the male agent and the female agent was around 5PM.

Thankfully, throughout the hours I didn't receive the money into my account and was happy they have cancelled it.

But to my utmost surprise, on Thursday at exactly 00:09 last week, I got an alert from them. I immediately wanted to refund it but no point of contact, called both and texted them on WhatsApp up till now. Don't know how they're doing that.

So today another agent entirely called for my repayment but I was about to tell her the story above. But instead abuses, threats and all followed up by her.

Later, the threat got to me, it was becoming horrifying, decided to pay what I collected at least, they won't take anything less than the required amount.

I checked my WhatsApp and saw so much spam and threat. Now they've invaded my privacy and have gone ahead to publish nonsense about me to my contacts. 😢

My contacts, advised to pay up by the loan . . .cos I contacted her to stop all these rubbish.

Well I've yet to pay up for what I don't know and have been embarrassed about. To at least put a halt to the unjust defamation while I pursue my case.

First, download and install Truecaller, so you can't be contacted by any loan app. You wouldn't have been contacted in the first place if you have Truecaller.

Secondly, when you receive any message from them. Just block and delete. That's what the block function is for. You replying shows you're easily frightened and timid, hence they are able to threaten you and pile up pressure.

Thirdly, if you have proof that they have messaged any of your contacts, do the two steps above and forget about them. Let them take the defamation as their payment.

If they haven't messaged any of your contact, then you can pay back just the initial loan if truthfully you didn't accept any loan and they just credited.

But I'm confused. How did they get your account to pay into? Did you accept the loan offers at the time you downloaded the apps?

I found this very very very useful. Thank you so so much. No I didn't accept the loan offer they literally just sent me since I ignored. And yes they've messaged most of my known contacts. You've to fill in that during the registration was why. I was baited. I am so traumatized

Like someone posted here not long on the issue of cashlawn , am already a victim of the lawless and unrecognized loan app, I was approached on phone to come take a loan and they were so versatile on phone ...then I said okay but I couldn't find your app on play store and then he replied , he will send it to me on WhatsApp and he did so I registered with my details and BVN ....who could believe when I saw there interest within a week it's almost times two then I didn't apply until the 7th day and I saw messages that am owing some loans on cashlawn I said how then I went to the account details I used and found funds then I added interest and paid .... immediately I deleted the app on my phone not knowing there app is on a automatic disbursement ....so the 7th day again I don't know they even drop 11,115 into my account without applying ....then on the 7th day was when I checked when I got a message from them again and I said I shall refund them there money cause I never applied for it ......they have posted my pictures and still threatens me ....
But I refused to be intimidated by anything they are doing ....that I shall not be submit to there critics

Don't be scared. It's an empty threat. The worst they can do is send damaging messages to your contacts. Anyways I hope you have learnt your lessons.
