They need to stop putting Lagos on such lists because its figures belong to every state in Nigeria

States like Bayelsa and other ND states will go up in the list
Yes it will.. but after some time, tribal wars about internal resources control will make the North over take the south...
Coz in the north, agriculture is their main pride ...

Eg, Zamfara - farming is our pride grin

You are wrong, six out of seven states before Ogun are oil producing states. What is lacking in ogun recently is under performance of the governor.

Ogun state is going down economically. Foreign investors are flying away from the state like birds on a distressed tree.

The Eastern economic axis Anambra, Delta, Imo, Rivers is the economic backbone of the country. Lagos is enjoying artificial monopoly.

I foresee Lagos GDP just like Ogun state recording a decrease owing hostile business and political atmosphere in past one year and also terrible FG policies that are chasing foreign investors away. However, I see that of Abia, Delta Imo, Anambra increasing owing to volume of investment and gas activities.

These I have seen also

it's because Imo has oil and thier share is big

Anambra have Many indigenous industries

unlike ogun most of the money made are taken abroad but Anambra own stays within the states

Infact if you know the meaning of GDP you won't be asking such stvpid question wink
Anambra is an oil producing state too.

Imo state is rich in oil and gas, has the highest gas deposit in Nigeria
rich in oil and gas is not same as big Producer. We are about GDP. South east has not tapped into its gas potentials yet.

This is interesting.l am surprised by Imo, though the reduction in insecurity might have explain this sudden growth on its GDP.Kidnappings still looms nonetheless and the governor must do something for the people to feel secured and feel the change. It's proximity to Rivers and Anambra could be another positive factor.Anambra must step up the game cause they have many vibrant indigenous factories and used to lead the chart.Oti must rivatalise Aba to bring back her past glory.lnflation however is very high in the country. All regions are suffering.Mr president ,hunger is biting hard.

Ondo has a higher GDP than Oyo, Ogun? Than Kaduna, Kano?

Did someone just pluck numbers from the air to compile this list?

Yes, Cocoa price has shot up several folds in recent years, but I don't think that can put Ondo ahead of those 4 states.

Also, when I travel to or through Ondo, there is no sign of this high GDP you people are talking about.

That's a fake list from Biaflan monkeys.

No oil and gas in any biaflan state. They only have markets where fake Chinese products are sold.

South East is a barren land

Delta and Rivers are not part of Ibo land.

We still topped the chart with Lagos.
Lagos is a natural blessing to the SW just like oil and gas is to the Niger Delta.
Next year's gdp will have SW states taking the first five slots.
Always clinging to Lagos , same Lagos developed like Abuja is being developed today, With federal resources n by non indigenes…..
When will it stick to you ppl’s cone headed skulls that Lagos is a no man’s land?

4. Imo State — GDP: ₦7.68 trillion
Imo State stands out for its diverse economy and thriving agriculture, commerce, and manufacturing sectors. The state’s strategic location, coupled with government initiatives to promote investment and entrepreneurship, has propelled its economic growth and contributed significantly to Nigeria’s GDP.

My people where are the thriving manufacturing, commerce or industry in imo state? Putting imo state in this list has discredited it
