Anambra and imo state are that rich, yet with poor infrastructural development. The igbo's should focus on their state, and hold their respective government accountable and stop all these lagos castigation. 1 Like 1 Share |

LagosFc: Another ethnicist teenager. FYI, I am not Ibo. I am as Lagosian as Lagosian can be. And when I say its not a SW thing, that is obvious. The size of Lagos' economy does not spring from the peculiar or exceptional work of any one tribe or region. Its a function of the role of Lagos as the economic capital of Nigerai and its former capital. 7 Likes |

Goodvibes007:GDP is the overall measure of economic indices.. IGR is just a fraction in it Gross domestic product account for all economic activities growth and development. Services and commerce, manufacturing. In all the Economic activities you realize your internally generated revenue which gives us your Gross domestic product. Countries and cities are measured in GDP 4 Likes |

DeepSight:wherever you come from is your business, Lagos has been a commercial city even before joining Nigeria and the inhabitants were mostly the aborigine, Awori, Egun, ijebus, Egbas and the Saros, it has always been destined to be great before Nigeria and before your ancestors ever dreamt of migrating to lagos…you cant tell me about my history, proudly lagos by origin so keep your tales to yourself. 2 Likes |

No wonder we don’t hear “Ogun is richer than South Africa and Singapore put together” these days from our Yoruba Muslim brothers They think having biscuit factories littered around Ogun state translates to being rich, when most of the drugs they take are Produced in Onitsha and Environ Ndigbo should learn to tell their own story, because if you allow Yoruba tell your story,it will be filled with propaganda and we all know the second name for Yoruba Muslims is propaganda 8 Likes |

Ttipsy: Don't let economics from textbooks and world slavery bank deceive you... IGR is the real measure of economic indices. If you own a company and that company is valued at N200B and that company makes N9B yearly after taxes... It is the N9b you will use to pay employees and run the company the following year not the N200B value of your company.. |
