The Pacers have no answer for J. Brown. He is such a matchup nightmare for them. JB has been our best player in this series and overall he has been great this postseason with his overall play. He had an average playoffs last year with some terrible games and TOs but he has cleaned that up. He wants it and you can see it.. |

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:42am On May 25 |
This Naz Reid dude. Wtf I'm not sure he has missed any 3pter. This is crazy. Not even Steph will make this many in a playoff game. Having a reserve like this on your bench na cheat code |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:51am On May 25 |
Kyrie missing a free throw. That's rather unusual Game should be tied by now. Also wth is wrong with Derrick Jones? Offensive fouls, turnovers on multiple possessions. Can't not score and still be costing your team points |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:59am On May 25 |
Kyrie turning to Ben Wallace at the free throw line. What are the odds? |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:17am On May 25 |
Some coaches just make their players look bad. You knew the Mavs would look for the switch to isolate Luka/ Kyrie with Gobert in that winning shot. It is an absolute mismatch, Finch should have subbed Gobert out of the game or have him sag deep that way the switch would not look for him. It was bad/ mismanagement of that final winning shot. There is nothing Gobert could have done against a great shooter/ ball handler like Luka. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 4:18am On May 25 |
Khanben: We overuse the term ankle breaker but that was a real ankle breaker. If you watch it again, Gobert was a few degrees of angulation away from having minimum a severe ankle sprain. Luka is a unique talent. I don't think i have ever seen his skillset before. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Roland17:You already know that abominable donkey will stylishly slander him again. They just set him up for failure |
Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 4:21am On May 25 |
Roland17: Gobert should have been subbed out for that last play. He played too many minutes in that 4th quarter IMO. Liability on offense individually, helped Mavs pack the paint against Ant, and was being exploited in certain spots on defense. What they were doing wasn't working, i would have tried KAT and Naz together more. 1 Like 1 Share |

Khanben:Lesson to all those ESPN goofies running to hand Minny the chip after they beat the Nuggets. They for some reason don't understand that different teams pose different problems and Mavericks point of attack is different from Nuggets. I still maintain that if the Nuggets had just one athletic big to give Jokic 10 minutes rest each game they would have beaten Minny comfortably Lively and Gafford combined for 30pts and 14 rebounds off lobs and putbacks. 90% shooting If I were Nuggets owner I'd fire the GM tonight for his appalling roster building 3 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 4:29am On May 25 |
afrodoc2: Gobert is still Wolves best rim protector. Gobert is not known for his offensive ability, KAT is the one that should be stepping up offensively like Naz Reid is doing but that man is mentally fragile. |
Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 4:29am On May 25 |
larride: That is what you get when you have 2 nuclear weapons that can score at all 3 levels and create for others at a high clip, and a premier defense. And those 2 nuclear weapons are big game players. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:30am On May 25 |
A40: It’s a shame Gobert will get the sticks for that final play. Finch needs to apologize to Gobert and the Wolves. He should have subbed him out. From the moment the possession was checked in, I knew whoever got the ball (Kyrie or Luka) was going to hunt Gobert even if it meant multiple switches until he finds it. You can’t send a 7ft 2 Center that high to defend a great shooter like Luka. Also, some of these guys need to stop with “he is defensive player of the year” as the argument he should cover everything. Gobert won DPOY as a center, rebounding on both ends, blocking or altering shots and other dirty works under the rim.. not as a perimeter defender defending guards, they are 2 totally different types of defending. |
