Wow, what an incredible feeling this is! Standing here as the winner of the Nairaland FA Cup 2023/2024 Season. Last year, I came so close but fell short . That experience taught me so much and motivated me to come back stronger and more determined. Today, all that hard work and perseverance have paid off. First and foremost, I want to congratulate all worthy opponents and most especially Centyakam (the finalist). You all played exceptionally well, not forgetting the paper tigers banters too , all this competition truly exciting. Your skill and sportsmanship pushed me to elevate my game, and for that, I thank you. Competing against such talented players (Iykmora, Ibime, Timbros, McKane and the gangs ) has been an honour. As I celebrate this victory, I'm already looking forward to next season. I hope to see you all next year, ready for another thrilling competition. Ibime.....since you will be incharge fully next season, pls let's make it interesting and competitive. We do not need large number of dormant players, rather few number of active participants.
Out of 500+ that registered for the league, how many are active on this board?! You see some names and you wonder where they crawl out from.
Like someone suggests, we can structure next season into perhaps 2 League Formats. NL Elite League for known active participants and NL General League for the rest.
Allow every player in the NL Elite League to participate in the FA Cup as well. At end of season, bottom 4 or more, depends on the number of players should be relegated to NL General League and Vice versa [promote top 4 or more to from General League to Elite League].
