I respect those people.
The Bible I currently use was given free of charge to me.
Many people were complaining about the Bible but I didn't care. They didn't bother to volunteer to buy one for me anyway.
The only reason why I didn't join them is because they don't beat drums or dance in their congregation.
I am a Yoruba man. I love dancing to God.
90% of the acts should be studied and followed by other Christians.

Well said. You must be related to Governor Adeleke grin

Lol. Make enviness non kill you shall. Someone created a thread on his experience with a Christian organization, you took it personal as if the thread threatened your source of livelihood. Don't develop blood pressure over Jehovah witness o

People who also had their own experience, you are also taking them personal quoting them up and down simply because they don't fit your narrative. All what you want to hear is good without the bad that happens in your Cult. That means you love deceit. You know the kind of things that happen in your Cult but because you are a deceiver, a Liar like Satan, you want to cover all the sins that happen in JW and promote to the world a Fake image to Deceive gullible people. You better don't allow High blood pressure to kill you as we expose you JWs. Since you JWs have been speaking a lot of evil against other denominations, we will do the same to you. Just sit tight and swallow every hatred you have sown. What you sow, you will reap.

If you took your time to read my article, you will know that I am only expressing my admiration for members of the JW. I am not a Jehovah’s Witness and that automatically rules me out in defending their doctrine.

However, if e sure for you. I can always invite a well-grounded JW to debate with you on any open platform of your choice. Deal or do you want to run away?

All those things you mentioned are just shiny side attractions, designed to hoodwink the gullibles.

Unfortunately when you talk of the Koko of Biblical Christianity, JWs are completely off target.

JWs believe that Jesus is the same as Archangel Michael and does not share any nature with God. This is a fundamental disconnect from true Xtianity and renders all those serenren u put up there irrelevant. They deemphasize the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for all mankind.

Even Buddhists are more civil.

1. time consciousness - JW are very good in keeping time.
2. Diabolical - JW are vety very diabolical.
3. Love Making - If you have an opportunity of dating any of their ladies, guy forget, she will bring you all her total love for you in 911 tipper.

I agree with more doctrines of the Jehovah's Witnesses than with the Pentecostals.

Child molesters, fake prophecies, segregation amongst members, pretenders, wrong interpretation and implementation of Bible verses especially on blood transfusion, the list goes on and on.

You just perfectly described "pentecostals" (apart from the blood transfusion part, which you could replace with materialism, hero worship and many of the madness that goes on in pentecostal "churches"wink.

Sincerity of heart and devotion (in heresy) for instance CANNOT be counted as righteousness. Have a nice day.

I am naturally drawn to things that people generally criticize and most of the time, I do find out that most of these things are not really what people say they are. People would generally hate what they don’t understand and that is the case of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. While growing up, I watched people avoid interacting with them and this made me curious to know about their doctrines.

After studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses for more than 12 years, I can say that they are widely misunderstood by most people. Do I totally agree with them? No, I do not but I share their perspective in some areas like the subject of the Trinity and Tithing. I do not actively study with the Jehovah’s Witnesses anymore but here are areas they have my respect.

First, is evangelism. Without a doubt, no other Christian set actively evangelizes like the Jehovah’s Witnesses, none even come close. As a Jehovah’s Witness, you are readily mandated to evangelize not just occasionally like most Christian sets but regularly.

Second is their civility. As far as I am concerned, I think the Jehovah’s Witnesses are the most civilized Christian set in Nigeria. Even though they use microphones in their services, you can barely hear a sound outside their kingdom hall. I think most churches need to learn from them on how not to disturb people with their horn speakers. It can be very annoying.

Third is their uniformity. I have gone to kingdom halls and many Jehovah’s Witnesses’ conferences in many regions of the country and I can confirm that they teach the same message everywhere. Most multi-branched churches in Nigeria are not like this. Don't let me start to mention names.

Fourth is biblical knowledge. When it comes to biblical knowledge, I haven't seen that Christian set that can win the Jehovah’s Witnesses in a Bible-based debate even though a lot of people will argue that their teachings are heresies. The truth of the matter is that no church is perfect and Jehovah’s Witnesses are not an exemption. Try an engage a random 8-year-old Jehovah’s Witness, you will be shocked by his or her narration of biblical events.

Recently, I was watching a video of two pastors arguing about tithing on Facebook and I was so irritated by the pastor arguing for why Christians should pay tithe. The Bible verses he was using as his defense were totally irrelevant to the points he was making. Jehovah's Witnesses are not like that. If you ask a Jehovah’s Witness a question he doesn't know, he will not try to be proof smart to you or beat around the bush, he will simply tell you that he does have the answer to your question but he will reach out to his superior for the answer. Trust me, he will always come back with a reasonable response even if it doesn't really answer the question exactly but at least it will sound very reasonable.

Fifth is their lower divorce rate. Of course, there will certainly be Jehovah’s Witnesses who are divorced but I am yet to see one myself. Do you know one? The Bible says, “By their fruits, we shall know them. This is a clear testament to show that the word of God is of great effect in their lives. Yeah!

Sixth is their devotion. When it comes to devotion, I rate the Jehovah’s Witnesses very high. A Jehovah’s Witness with an MSc can decide to turn into an artisan simply because he doesn't want anything that will hinder him from going to weekly meetings at the Kingdom Hall. One of their members once told me that he has never missed a meeting in his entire life and if I wasn't mistaken, he should be around 32 years of age when he told me that. Jehovah’s Witnesses don't joke with their meetings and that's why you will rarely see a Jehovah’s Witness working in the bank.

Lastly is their less emphasis on money. This is one area I respect the Jehovah’s Witnesses most. A Jehovah’s Witness will politely stop you by the road, hand you a book that would have cost you a lot of money, and ask that you give a free-will offering. Even if N5 is all you have, he will collect. This is not the way it is in other Christian sets where everything is for sale. The only Christian set that is a bit like the Jehovah’s Witnesses in this regard is the Christ Embassy with their “Rhapsody of Reality”. It will shock you that the Jehovah’s Witnesses do not take offerings or tithe in their meeting except a box at the entrance of the hall where members can drop their voluntary offerings. Sometimes I imagine how they can run their publications and the maintenance of their halls. I don't think there is any better way to explain the true provision of God than that.

In conclusion, I know a lot of Christians see the Jehovah’s Witnesses as a heretic movement or even a demonic one but I don't think so. Instead, I see sincere people who are devoted to God in the way they know best. Whether their doctrine is accurate or not, I just hope God counts the sincerity of their heart and devotion as righteousness.

You have fairly recounted your experience with them, but does it exnorate them from heretic teachings and preachings? See what bible said in Gal. 5:9
A little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump.
2Tim. 2:18
Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is passed already; and overthrow the faith of many.
Consider this scriptures in assessing them next time.
Having those outside traits you have mentioned, cannot pay the price of one soul that is wrongly lead to hell.

In the early 1990s i was in my early 20s i heard a lot of terrible things about JWs but as a soldier i decided to make an investigation as i had the plan of becoming a member of the Nigerian politicians though i joined the army to have a strong background, my intention is to fight all obstacles that could hinder the well being of my people.

But instead of beating the JWs with all the bad things i heard about them i was shocked to know that they are the exact opposite of what majority people think and heard about them.
In fact i started running away from them when i discovered they are winning me over and i had to run for 22 years from 1992-2014 when i got baptized as one of them till today! smiley

Yes! Sometimes our experience might not capture the whole scenario of an event, so if another person comes with more details and facts, a reasonable and open-minded person will take that over his/her.

Read the whole thread, from beginning to the current page.

The OP shared his own experience likewise do many people who have had personal experience with Jws.

I don't think anybody is asking the OP to do away with his own experience but I see people trying to tell the OP that it's because he is not actually getting DEEP WITH JWS.

I have a cousin who is a jehovah witness that got divorced recently after less than 2 yrs of getting married the wife who is also a fellow member have even sued him to court because of his properties that are to be shared so i don'tunderstand what this writer is talking about. Jehovah witnesses discriminates other fellow christains even their own family members who are not jehovah witness like them they are also fetish forget about what they preach on the streets I can confidently say all these because of my personal experience.

Ya, there's nothing good about them. They're just pretenders capable of sending you to early grave if you loose guard.

Very secretive people who wanna know everything about you but you won't hear pim from them. Even if they see what will kill you they will craftily lead you there if you ain't one of them.......They love a stranger who's a witness more than their sibling attending another church.

Witnesses would vibe to songs from secular artistes and won't complain but would see something to criticize when you play Frank Edwards and other gospel artistes song close to them.

Nothing wey anybody wan tell me about witness, I know their modus operandi.
