Nigeria Breweries NB, Buy more, Hold on, or Sell Off?
What is the Target Price?
Target or exit price??
If you ain't ready to accept the worst scenario of sub N18.00 or possible negative equity, please japa or surrender current holding at trough length +/_ N18 to N30.
The Breweries are in for the worst case scenario in the history of NGX.
Read the link below for better understanding.

https://nairametrics.com/2024/04/27/nigerian-breweries-receives-shareholders-approval-for-n600-billion-rights-issue/

Recall that after a board meeting on April 3, 2024, the Board of Directors of Nigerian Breweries had announced a decision to raise N600 billion through a rights issue programme. The move became necessary due to the company’s burgeoning debt and ailing balance sheet.
Part of the statement from the board meeting had read.
Due to the negative impact of the devaluation of the naira and the high cost of funds on the Company’s capital structure, especially on the Company’s debts, the proceeds from the Rights Issue will help to reduce the huge debt burden arising thereby leading to a healthier balance sheet.”
“Coupled with ongoing cost savings and other operational efficiency efforts, the Board is optimistic about steering the Company back to the path of sustainable profitability in the near future.”
The implication of the above is that you may buy NB or any of the Breweries for your children future and generational wealth antecedents.
For the current PBAT reform to normalise, it would take at least 5 years, plus ➕️ his guarantee 2nd term.
Any breakage in governance will further reverse the anticipated future reward of current suffering in Nigeria.

In other news, the Lagos state government is planning to build a waste-to-energy power station generating about 70 megawatts. I think it is a very good venture that should be emulated by the other states.

I think the government should list it on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX). They can hold like 50 to 60% stake and float it as a public company to mitigate the inefficiencies usually seen in government-owned assets.

The raw materials are almost free and plentiful. I think the business can be very profitable.

They should acquire a fleet of electrically powered garbage trucks from China that will roam the streets of Lagos. I would invest in it personally sha.

The Managing Director of Okomu Oil Palm Plc, Graham Hefer has said that the company’s rubber plantation was stopped in 2023 due to insecurity and attacks on the company’s facilities.
He said this alongside other senior management of the company in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday.

He called on the Federal Government and Edo State Government to help the company combat bandits whose activities are disrupting its operations.

Hefer stated that rubber production is strategic to the firm’s operations, as it serves as one of its major sources of foreign exchange earnings. He, however, lamented the losses incurred in production, attributing them to insecurity. The managing director stated that, in addition to insecurity, the devaluation of the naira, lack of foreign exchange and inadequate infrastructure have negatively impacted the company... A quick glance of the bank's 5 year financial summary tells one all they need to know about whether they're fundamentally sound or not wink.. plus for there to be an exit by one party, there's a corresponding accumulation by another.. 6 billion naira worth of trades in a week on one stock tells a lot, don't you think so? Or 6 billion na money wey person dey use monkey hunt?

I believe big shareholders are reinvesting their dividends.

No auto DRIP/SCRIP options available yet on NGX. some companies offer manual scrip-dividend, but sometimes takes longer to ratify vs you buying the shares yourself with the dividend paid. We should probably see DRIP / Auto-scrip option become normalised within the next 2-4 years . AELP is what is on the regulatory bodies mind for continental cash-out.
