Exaltation of colonialism. An anthem created by a Nigerian now abandoned for the one created by the colonialists. What a shame! |

Ok , the only two people that are left in Nigeria now are people that.... 1 ...their visas were denied but have hopes 2...people that don't have money to leave but huzzling to gather money . They should bring back their children who are studying overseas to recite the old national Anthem.... Imagine ....no wonder Senate President said , don't suffocate the poor, allow them to breath and they all laughed remembering Tinubu said it first .. |

To imagine that somebody's father woke to sponsor this bill at a time like this simply goes to show how clueless these set of politicians are. No innovative ideas. No creative ideas. No progressive ideas. But just to revert to the old national anthem? What!!! If this is really the sort of things they go there to discuss at the senate, alongside sending prayers to their email addresses, then we are doomed!!! Chineke ekwekwala ihe ojoo!!! |

Isn't this like erecting a magnificent edifice from the top and expecting it to stand the test of time? The root cause of Nigerias problem is bad leadership and endemic corruption. No amount of national anthem or pledge good as it may, can compel a child with an irresponsible father to act right. While trying to build patriotism in the citizens who are living daily on empty stomach and penury, why can't our leaders sacrifice their jumbo packages and loots so that the nation can grow. What better way would there be to drive a solid sense of patriotism in the citizenry than this? Let's stop cutting corners and chasing shadows in this country, in pursuit of lasting solution. God is not behind our predicament in Nigeria, it is squarely man made. |

The wisest people in this country are the Igbo people. They rejected Buhari, he turned out to be monumental failure, they rejected TINUBU, who is gunning for world Guinness record in failure. |

All of these are gimmicks to divert your attention from what's happening.. There's a social engineering company whose job is to come up with silly ideas like this to test the stupidity of the populace.. They do this to check if the people are still divided or not... It will interest you to know that Tinubu, Atiku, Obi are not enemies.. They meet in their secret meetings while we fight over left over food.. |

Africans have this special love for the people that enslaved them and colonized them. I can’t believe they will even think of going from the anthem they composed for themselves to the one that was composed for them by their colonial masters |
