Bunch of retards. You pass a bill to bring back the old national anthem, with an aim to unify all tribes. When it’s election time the same politicians will divide the country along tribal lines just so they win.

Bunch of retards!

If we begin to hail Nigeria in our national anthem our economy will bounce back stronger that is the idea-Tinubu.

Of course!
If you Hail your country, you do not only scream it’s positive aspects at the rooftops, you will also do the right things, abhor corruption, invest in manufacturing within your country, buy locally produced goods as opposed to foreign dependence, etc. That’s the great idea that Tinubu and the National Assembly are projecting through changing the Nation Anthem.
What’s more: It reminds us that ….”Though Tribe and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we Stand!!”
That’s how to build a Nation…. not by promoting futile and senseless “Stay At Home” policies! cool cool

Never thought a day would come when I won't be able to sing the national anthem. I mean, do these people expect me to start learning this "I hail thee" at my age when I have many other more relevant things I'm busy with?

The only thing that will unite Naija, inflation rate, insecurities, transportation cost, electricity, Fx, working refineries, minimum wage.

Anything other than that na waste of time, effort and money.

You would have to sing it at police check points.

Also, before using any federal government facility. Like airports, public toilets, state tollgates(when reintroduced).

This anthem would revive the economy grin
