Which Investor Will Risk His Money In A Country Where Tinubu Is A President by savenaijatoday: 12:51am On May 29 |
Leadership is about trust, track records, integrity, prudence, reliability and stability. Tinubu lacks the charisma and the trust to draw investors. Even Nigerians know Tinubu is the most confused person right now in terms of policies. Imagine an investor risking his wealth in country where their president carries money in bullion vans, rides fleets of the most expensive cars while the citizens can't afford food? Imagine investing in a country where people are being kidnapped daily and the president lacks words of sympathy. Imagine investing in a country where her currency is on a free fall and the president is traveling up and down for medicals. How would Tinubu draw investors abeg? 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Tinubus leadership lacks the qualities needed to attract investors, with his questionable track record and lack of empathy for Nigerians struggles. Its no surprise that people are protesting against his government. 11 Likes |

Investors don't just approach any countries to invest, they rather approach trusted Finance advisors like Fintech, which just upgraded Nigeria credit rating Illiteracy can sometimes be dangerous to the society . helinues: U are not academically sound to dabble into economic matters. How can u say what u just said above without ever reasoning. Are the fintechs running the economy on autopilot or u just want to sound normal this time around. U don't run around the world looking for investors,in fact, investors do more by engaging experts to study nations like us before bringing in their money that is why in OBJ's words "investors know us more than we know them" no individual can afford to waste his money in a country that encourages instability" Just keep deceiving yourself with ur nonsense fintechs. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Not only that. You can see as trivial as national anthem is being considered for a change. We are unstable with our politics to the extent of contemplating changing an anthem that has been in use since 1978. This is a sign of instability. The old people can't sing the new one and want to drag us back to what they are used to. 1 Like |

Many economies are suffering, from Europe to North & South America. Over-reliance on dollars is not helping too. We need to diversify our forex (design a currency swap system). Use Chinese yuan, Euros, Bitcoin, CFA etc. |

Tinubus leadership has proven to be unstable, unreliable and lacking in trust, making it difficult for him to attract investors and garner support from Nigerians who are tired of his confused policies and lack of empathy for the struggles of the people. |

stonemasonn: Is it just the meagre $35 billion that you want to diversify? Even China has most of its foreign reserves in US bonds. Nigeria just needs to invest in production enablers, scale agriculture investment and oil/gas production and export, support SMEs (not one yeye minister giving businesses 50k), and improve security and ease of doing business stats. When you have grown your wealth, lifted poor people out of poverty, started exporting more and importing less and reduced the craze among young people to leave their own country in search of opportunities, then you can increase your foreign reserves to over $100 billion and diversify it - probably investing 50% in Yuan and gold. |

Ok o. I have Nigerians home and abroad making investment decisions on an ongoing basis. That's because they know things will get better and they want to invest now dlso they will be well placed to ride any future waive of economic growth. I admit. Not everyone thinks like that. Some are pulling out. Others are waiting on the sidelines. The rest just don't have the capacity to invest because of the very challenging conditions we have now. Those investing or planning to invest now are contrarians who believe things will get better. It is a risk, but one they're prepared to take. 1 Like |
