When my day comes I hope I have the courage to stand for what's right. She could have towed the line, she chose to stand against all odds. It's a shame that we are widening the gap for her.

Why are the oppressed defending their oppressors? This... This is why I don't see much hope for us. Maybe we can't do much but we have power in numbers. Labor party demonstrated that much, as much as I don't have any allegiance to them.

If everybody says it is sweet, let them come and arrest everybody.
Yes, it is too sweet and yes sweet things are killing us. Let's all go to court and fight that out. Let it be the people vs Erisco. But because we're divided, they can single someone out and scapegoat them.

I understand you tbh. After a while one gets desensitised to the terrible abuse carried out day to day.

The bolded is exactly the reason people lie low and tow the path of peace. Honestly I wish there's a way we as people can fight the oppressors but the reality is it's almost impossible because of the division. The institutions are weak and it takes only "God's grace" to survive because anything can happen to anyone without state protection unless you have someone among the oppressors hence I am of the opinion she should have applied wisdom and let sleeping dogs lie.

Criticizing a product is not a crime. Nowhere in the world. And her first agreement to apologize was under severe durress.

You didn't follow this from the beginning, criticizing Erisco tomatoes is one thing but mentioning Gino as a better product in her criticism is why it's not viewed as criticism.

She has every right to criticize but projecting another product which serve the same purpose is evil and a crime in the business world. Nigeria is a capitalist state where competition thrives but there are rules.

As i said before, she is wrong and no amount of emotion/sentiment will change that. Criticize but don't bring another product as being better while you criticize; this is bringing one down at the expense of another.

MTN and GLO are network providers, MTN can project herself as being better ( i.e MTN and others) but MTN dear not come to the public and say "that MTN is better than GLO." If such happen, GLO will sue MTN and claim whatsoever amount they want, thank you.

Her case comes up on Friday 31th May at Federal High Court Abuja. She is currently at Suleja correctional facility, she need help; please go and do the needful.

NB: the human rights lawyer defending her is already doing his best to get out temporary on bail, please go and do your best for her because many people who pushed her into this are deserting her in droves, thank you and good luck.

As you make your bed,so shall you lay on it.....lol grin

This Chioma woman was being egged on by the obidient mob on social media, when she could have apologised to Chief Eric and taken down her false post.
She had claimed that the Tomatoe paste was too sugary and that the product kills people.
This is a defamation of a business that took years to build. Especially now that jobs are so hard to come by. Someone built up his business and employed hundreds of workers and you sat behind your laptop or android phone and decided to rubbish all his achievements with a silly and false post.

There is even one of the obidients called Oluchi ,a self styled general of the obidient army who continued to egg this Chioma on and advised her not to apologise to chief Eric, while safely hidden away in Canada. They disparaged the products produced by Chief Eric's company all over social media.
Even Chioma's lawyer, another obidient called Inibehe, who has consistently lost cases in court was egging Chioma to continue to fight Chief Eric instead of apologising to him.

I hope Ohaneze will stop their internal wrangling and step in and beg Chief Eric before a judge sentences her to a long prison term. The way this case is going it is not looking good for Chioma. I also remember Chief Eric stated that he would rather lose all his business than allow Chioma to defame him and go Scott free. It is that serious o......

Go to any brand site and check least ratings , you will find all sought of product condemnation there.

Anybody has a right to make bad reviews, it is not an offence.

So does she have the right to make a blatantly false review by saying the product is killing a lot of people?
Nafdac did a check of the product and passed it as satisfactory.
Chioma was asked to apologise but after writing an apology, her charge and bail lawyer and the on line obidients encouraged her to disown the apology letter and continue to disparage Erisco products.

Chief Eric, the owner of Erisco tomato paste has sworn on live television that he would rather lose his business than let Chioma go scot free for trying to destroy his brand.
The sooner she calls on elders /Ohaneze to plead with Chief Eric for mercy, the better for her because she is facing a jail term if she continues on this road to perdition and no online obidient will share a jail cell with her.

If you shop online very well, I am sure you would have seen worst reviews.

Customers heavily criticize product and don’t get arrested.

Elon musk has suffered a lot from such on Tesla cars and never heard he arrested someone.

Several videos are online that condemn Coca Cola, and never heard people got arrested.

Go to the website of any product you like and go read least rating statements, and comeback here to tell me they all need to be arrested.

As it stands now, what image is the chief selling about his product? Negative image!

Manufacturers are always known to welcome criticisms.

Even when you leave the worst statement, they always say they are sorry about your experience and would improve quality.

The chief can only flex such power in Nigeria because he can buy the law

@Bolded,
You can not be sure of this statement. This is just a conjecture.

My point is people all over the world give reviews about products, but I sincerely doubt they go around saying the product they are reviewing IS KILLING PEOPLE!

I am all for reviews of products but where I draw a line is fake/false reviews of products like the one Chioma did on chief Eric's tomato paste.
The fact is Nafdac and Lagos state separately did tests on the Erisco tomato paste and found it to be in order.
Chioma herself had written an apology at the police station and had agreed to retract her posts on Facebook until she fell under the influence of the charge and bail lawyer Inihebe Effiong and the self acclaimed field Marshall of the obedient movement called Oluchi on x/Twitter.
It was these two characters and their cohorts that led Chioma on this road to perdition where she now finds herself remanded in jail pending the bail hearing.
Chioma is the person on the holden cell. She is the one feeling the discomfort. She is the one who suffered a miscarriage.
The lawyer is outside breathing free fresh air. Field Marshall Oluchi is safe in Canada.
In my humble opinion a simple apology and retraction of the defamatory post would have relaxed Chief Eric's determination to prosecute her.

I don't know your religious background but I leave you with the gospel of st Mathew chapter 5 verse 25.

You people dont deserve to live in a free society. You simply dont understand the concept of freedom of speech, freedom of thought and conscience.

You don't derserve to live in any society, whether free or otherwise

"When the intentions behind someone's speech and how they express their opinions or share about their experiences are clearly meant to harm and break others down and the methods they employ to do so are in line with such intentions, it is an abuse of free speech and must be held accountable."

Killing - 7 letter word.

Ki***ing - 8 letter word.

The three asterisks can be any letter of the English alphabet. It can be Kibbling.

Even if we are to ignore one asterisk and make it 2, the words can be any of the following seven letter words;
Kicking
Kidding
Killing
Kibbing
Kinking
Kissing
Kicking
Kinking
Kipping
Kinging

The lawyers and the judge would then need to play a game of complete the sentence in order to convict the lady. Remember in a criminal case you have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt.
