Very wicked crazy demonic dumb government.

You have money and billions to spend on yourself but cant do minimum wage of at least 100k to workers.

Morocco pays ₦1.4m monthly minimum wage to teachers, not talking of doctors, engineers etc..

Who made you giant of Africa, rather you are a gnat, until you begin to do the right things ,O Nigeria

so it is the minimum wage that has not been increased that has reduced the purchasing power. I don't know how we Nigerian thinks. When tinubu was bringing out those policies that has increased inflation and spoiled the economy, you guys were not shouting purchasing power. Now, that it is for the masses, they are shouting purchasing power

At exchange rate of N170 to 💲1 under
PDP in 2015, the then minimum wage
of N18000 was equivalent to 💲106.

Any negotiation for minimum wage, almost
10 years on should be starting from
at least 💲150 as baseline, since everything
we use in our daily lives today are
imported or have import components.

Bread flour, fuel, used cars, agricultural
inputs etc❗️❗️❗️

What we actually need isn’t more Naira, it’s purchasing power of the Naira to be stronger than we have now.

50 Naira is almost useless. A satchet of pure water is 30 Naira or so. A bottle of water is 200 Naira.

Even if the minimum wage is increased to 1M Naira it still won’t be enough.

Government must do something about reducing inflation.

You don't know what you are saying? You want the government to defend the Naira again and you get things at fairly cheap price and a few months later, things will get worse... Minimum wage needs to be increased to atleast 160k/month if you don't know.

How did PDP keep the exchange rate below 200 naira for 16 years and inflation was much lower than we have now?

Don’t let these politicians keep selling this bullshit of defending dollars to you.

APC is incompetent and they messed up this country and the economy.

NLC should negotiate with FG with attractive minimum wage because SUBSIDY IS GONE
Don't believe this set of NLC oo. All they are doing is drama to make it look as if they are negotiating and to make it look as if govt I serious . They have already agreed, govt has already given them a figure and they have accepted but they need to make it look as if they played tough.
Let's ask ourselves, how meetings has this present NLC had with govt and that has produced any positive results for the masses? They are the ones who will call a strike and also the ones to call it off. They have already sold out on this one just as they have been doing since this govt took overpower

This negotiation get end so? Lots of civil servants do nothing at work...lay them off and give them what they are meant to earn in 12 months at a go let them go into farming or any other productive venture. This will have a massive positive impact on the economy. The FG can secure a loan to do this.

Many ideas dey my head but they will never vote for people like me

Can you can grantee the security of the farms abi and show me any industry or sector that is working will without government involvement

You may be right about the bolded but also remember that many public servants(ministers, federal high commissioners, directors, SA, SSA, senators from both chambers) likewise don't do anything meaningful when compared to the salaries they are paid. Will it not be better the same is done to them as you have suggested.
We can't be living in a hypocritical world. Why limit it to those whose salaries are meagre.

I fully support this idea.

So many people in the civil service are busy doing nothing.

Most of such persons are only whiling away time and waiting for the salary which comes at the end of the month.

I don't know why the NLC is making this thing look like one serious thing that needs serious negotiation.

Whatever the FG proposes as minimum wage let them come up with a template for it. I guess that's what the budget office does as ot concerns renumeration for the top government officials. So let them do a breakdown for whatever amount they will pay and let it made known on all media platforms. At least we know that all FG establishments are situated in city centers and towns. Let them use the rates of goods and other services as standard prices.
