Congratulations on your mum's Visa
Please what are the documents you submitted and how much did you use to sponsor her, also the amount you included as her monthly expenses.
I will appreciate if you can assist with providing answers to this questions
Thank you

Thank you! I submitted the following documents for her:

Letter of invitation
Cover letter
Her letter from her employer
Her payslips
Her bank statement (closing balance of 200k)
Her marriage certificate
Her husbands consent letter
Her son in Nigeria also wrote a letter
I wrote a letter explaining some transactions in her account which was not her usual salary
Birth certificate showing she’s my mum
I said I’ll be supporting her with 2500£ ,I had 3700£ closing balance in my account
Letter from my employer
My payslips
My bank statement
Council tax,house contract
My son birth certificate ( I stated she was coming to see her grandson)
Her Assests(Land documents,car documents)
Pictures of her talking to my baby on video call

From her bank statement ,I noticed her range of expenses monthly was 50-80k so I put 60k

Her monthly salary is 118,000

How much is she personally spending in the uk: 50k

I hope this helps

Good morning, guys. I am having a dilemma, and I need URGENT advice, please.

My trip is in a few days, and I have already booked a hotel room for my entire stay. I haven't paid yet; I will be paying at the property. I informed my friend that I will be visiting, and he suggested I come stay at his place, which is a few hours away from London. The plan is for me to spend just a few nights in my London hotel and spend the rest of my trip at his house.

My issue is I did not mention this friend on my application because I was not planning on staying with him. I fully intended to stay in the hotel, but his offer came up, and I thought it might be nice to spend some time with him.

I am thinking of changing my hotel booking to just the first few days, but I am worried that if I show up at Heathrow will a hotel reservation that doesn't cover the whole trip, it might pose an issue with Border officials.

The most important thing to me is to not get harassed or bothered at the point of entry. But I also don't want to have to pay for a hotel when I have an offer to stay with somebody for free.

How can I navigate this? Please advise. Thanks.

Have money at hand in cash, card or cheques and you can pay for the few days hotel you want. If you get to the border control and are asked you can say you want to try out the services of the hotel and so you have paid for a few days. If all is well then you would renew for your remaining days, otherwise you would move to another hotel as you want to have a very relaxing holiday. … + you have enough money in cash and your cards. Just be liquid enough if you don’t want to mention your friend all of a sudden. They can check your account if they want to.. or ask to see the cash.

yes don’t make it seem like you are doing something out of the ordinary as plans change all the time. And don’t go and give unnecessary context to questions if not asked.
Q- How long are you in the UK for?
A- answer straight. 1 week or whatever
Only answer hotel question if you are asked.
And answer only what asked
Eg. I would be staying at the garden hotel… don’t start answering for few days or few months except if you are asked to show the reservation or how long or to explain.
Then be bold and say I have paid for a few days to try out their services etc as I explained and take it from there. Especially you who got your visa sometime in April or so and we are almost in June… so they know all the time plans change!!!!
Who is to say you did not read a bad review online about the hotel etc and are now wary of them bla bla bla … just have confidence

airport prices are way higher than paying for same service online. Yes this amount seems correct due to exchange rate and paying at the airport.

Don't stress yourself. Get the visa and buy your ticket. It is rare for anyone to ask for your hotel booking at the UK border. However, you can be asked for your return ticket. They know you will not sleep at the airport - you must sleep somewhere so they really don't bother much about that.

You don't need hotel booking for UK visa.

They do ask for accommodation/hotel reservation. It's better to be safe than sorry.

yes go to the mobile app or website of turkish airlines. Click on manage booking. Input your booking code and all your flight details/itinerary would come up. Then you click on modify flight or add a bag or buy baggage… it should take you to the place where to buy 1 piece of 23kg extra or as many bags as you want.

Good day everyone, I'm having a bit moral dilemma at the moment. I am currently financially responsible for my niece and I stated to my lawyers that she's my child. What are the possible negative effects if I decide to tell the immigration lawyers to withdraw her from my application as we are having a conflict in the family about it.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by roak: 8:11pm On May 30
Plans do change and people are allowed to change their minds. Whatever hotel reservations you put in your visa application dosent affect you at the Immigration entry point. That you did not add your friend dosent affect too...

Example: one can put a hotel reservation in London for their Visa application and end up staying in Scotland when they get to UK

At the immigration point,They'd be asking where you plan to stay if you have a reservation etc.

Worst case scenarios they would call your friend and the hotel to confirm. Ensure you have a solid reservation and ensure you have your friends details when you land. His address and phone no

1.How long are you staying in the Uk
2 Do you have your return ticket and when are you returning
3 how much do you have on you? do u have sufficient fund on you
