Hello please I need suggestions.

I got admitted to study Mobile application dev at University of Winnipeg. I have gotten my PAL, and I did made my first attempt for study permit on 1st May, did biometrics on 15may and rejection came on 28th May. Note I haven't done medicals.

. I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) (https://laws-
lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations
(IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/index.html). I am refusing
your application.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.

My personal info
Am currently self -funding myself,
My school tuition fee is 22,450 CAD, and I have already made a deposit of 6900 CAD. I have also an accumulation of 29000 USD savings which was gotten through years of saving doing freelance works. This was attached with receipt and inflows of account. Thou I did deposited large sum recently which I explained as I did liquidate most of my stocks on bamboo. I also attached evidence and receipts to show that

My concern mostly was the course of study. I had a bachelor's degree in education and English studies. But with work of experience in mobile dev I got admitted which I was much excited about. In my rejection slip the VO didnt mention about my choice of study. Rather he mentioned. Home ties and insfuccient funds.

Things I did note was that currently am unemployed and work so come seasonal not frequently. So maybe was a red flag from the V.O and I didn't elaborated more on my family background.

So am currently trying to reapply next first week next month as my program is starting ending of August.

I have already requested for GMSC notes. But I heard it takes like a month to get it.

So am trying to use my eldest brother who's currently working for a company and has a good financial ground . My dad is late and mum is a retired Public servant. I have 3 siblings.
I also want to attach an employment slip from a company in Nigeria that would employ me on my return to Nigeria. I just don't know if there's anything am not getting right. Or should I just wait for my gms notes.

Someone said is also good thing to pay up all the tuition fees and have a co sponsor + 20,609 CAD and other expenses in your account

Limits to how much you can transfer are only applicable to balances funded by cash lodgements, If you receive the USD via inflows directly into your account, there are no restrictions to how much you can move.

So you need to fund your dollar account via inflows before you can outflow without restrictions

I think that MBS is a ticket page from your bank, that you can upload In place of your actual bank statement. The embassy can easily use that ticket number to verify the funds in your bank . Not sure if this actually helps your case, i think the benefit is to reduce amont of paper work, but Waiting for more people to speak on it.

Hello Guys, good morning

To give back to the community and to share my experience (based on true story, I got my Canada Student visa in 8days, Immediately after biometric they requested for my passport same day)

I will share some good pointers to help people struggling and those who might have gotten refusal.

First I would say no visa is guaranteed and it takes the grace of God and enough explanation (my SOP was 20-45 pages, Yes you read that right)

I see a lot of people selling their property but they are ways you can move to Canada without selling your properties In Nigeria, At least that Is what I did.

First you want to talk to yourself as if you were a VO.
Ask yourself some very difficult questions and be realistic that if you told someone else, Would they would be satisfied as you are with your answers.

Remember the VO will not call you on the phone to ask you question regarding your application or if you made any mistake, I am speaking from experience as I did my whole visa application myself without the help of an agent.

It took me 6 months to gather every information I needed and it was a first time application. So speak about your application with the mindset of not hearing back while trying to answer every possible question the VO might have in mind.

I want you to start by introducing yourself to this VO. They don’t know you or even your past life, when you are introducing yourself, try to also add photos of any past event or memory in that your introduction.

Highlight your current life situation in Nigeria and how you feel studying in Canada will improve yourself and career, emphasis on your career

Do not stop talking about your career!!!

Moving on, talk about your immediate family, remember to show pictures as well.

Do not just mention “Oh I have a senior brother blah blah blah, try to paint a picture in the mind of the VO so they can see you and this strange person (the brother) you have mentioned.

Sometimes it is not about the money in your account it is how you prioritize your career and how you sound determined in your SOP.

While you are doing this steps, remember to label your write up so it makes sense, that even if the VO jumps from page 1 to page 5 and back to page 3 without, it will make sense to them without missing any point.

If you have the funds, add a GIC to your application, if you can’t they are other ways you can proof cash availability.

I got my student visa in 8days from Nigeria and got a 10years visitor visa In Canada.

Remember there’s no such thing as too many documentation, you are literally writing to a human being that will not ask you question or respond back to until they have concluded their process (Decision).

Take your time to explain your funds available to you as much as you can, it doesn’t matter if you have 4 Million or 120 Million Naira , if your explanation is not tight enough, your visa can be refused based on generic reasons.

Remember this VO doesn’t trust you, you have to build up trust by adding extra ordinary proof to every of your statement you make.

Omo Canada Hard o!!!
Better come with knowledge, skills or money or you go suffer eh, e go be like say make you D*e but you no go gree d*e

BEST OF LUCK!!!

If you can get MBS it will be better, it reduce the size of your documents and also make them more legit because they come directly from the bank to the embassy. They likely don't verify it.

I suppose what the VO may mean by insufficient funds is that available funds you presented doesn't seem enough because you said your tuition fees is about 22k and then you have living expenses of approximately 21k. If you add both together, it gives about 43k. If you then minus the 6k you paid as tuition deposit, it gives you a balance of 37k to show but you only showed proof of funds of 29k. Maybe that's where the insufficient funds is coming from.
As per home ties, I wouldn't know, you can repackage that well in your next application.
Good luck.

The allowable file is 2MB, so you need to compress your combined documents to 1.9, or 2 MB any size above 2 MB will not be accepted. So you combine multiple documents into a single document.

Good evening every one, quick questions please

1. Can a gift of deed be done for a property, if yes how can I go about it and also how else can I prove transfer of ownership of a property?
2. Is land sale agreement enough or I have to accompany it with survey documents as well?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 4:21pm On May 31
1. Get a lawyer to assist you with the gift deed it is the same way you did the property documents.
2. You can attach the survey plan, if applicable
