NSNO: The vast majority of the guys you are talking about are not only teenagers but frustrated ones, many of them wish to be having girlfriends but girls do turn them down, mainly because of their age and status. Hence they are venting their angers not only on all women but also men that aren't supporting their foolish and myopic views. Many of those teens are also taking hard drugs(Colorado, monkey tail, etc) that's why you see most of their contributions, as if LUNATICS on the loose. Take for instant,....a particular frustrated teenager, has constituted nuisance on every topic by saying,.....IF YOU DNT MARRY YOUR WIFE AS VIRGIN. TO ME, ALL THESE NUISANCE ARE SUPPOSED TO BAN PERMANENTLY, IF NOT, RATIONAL PEOPLE WOULD JUST BE LEAVING NAIRALAND UNTIL IT BECOMES FORUM FOR IDIOTS AND LUNATICS. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

pocohantas:Lol. What I really find funny is the fact that they are the ones creating threads to notify themselves of women's absence on this section. Yet some wackadoodles still believe women left because they don't get attention from them I am honestly baffled by such delusions! Who's pining for whose attention here? Lol. They will be alright! 2 Likes |

Seuns forum is a clear representation of the staring lack of creative minds in Nigeria. It gets boring after a while, reading the same thing over and over again. Maybe it's just a particular demographic loaded here, however, it's glaring that most of us aren't widely read. So, we keep seeing the same thing over and over again. Political discourse, zero. Philosophical discourse, zero. Open minded discourse self on the number one topic, relationship, zero. Women are slots and men are scum. That's all. We don't even discuss policies and other stuff related to society that affects all of us. Not that I attacking the Nigerian here. I'm well aware of economic situations and how it cripples the mind. These days, I spend more time on reddit because, In as much as it has similar themes as nairaland, it's jam packed with creative and intellectual people. The discourse going on dear is mind blowing and a harsh awakening, even for me, of my willful ignorance of so many aspects of life. One could say, many of us are on the low scale of the Marslows hierachy of needs. Well, that would be true, too. Since inflation hit, I've found it difficult to read anything that isn't "increasing my income" related. Reddit is my go to place now self. I just realised we no like dey help ourselves for this country. I one time posted on reddit that I was frustrated and didn't know how to navigate my career path. Come and see calculated advice..😁 😁 😁..Somebody even DM me to send CV. I didn't sha. My skillet never reach that level. What I love most about Reddit is that you can never tell who is a millionaire and who's not. People talk like people. No classism. You won't hear that nonsense my people do, "I earn bleh bleh and have traveled bleh bleh." r/povertyfinance, r/finance, r/piracy, r/ask. r/Nigeria ( they are even trying, but na relationship matters they quick trend) Omo!!!!!!!!!!! And I will follow their way of life. This one here for people living in the jungle. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Truvelisback:Not like that my bro. On a norms self, ladies are not in any way proportionate to men on this forum. So, it's most likely that events relating to them will be more glaring. |

Proserpina: Yeah. Notice how they talk about us more than we talk about them? I had to explain to one up there, that male attention doesn't mean shit if it isn't from the one we want. All unwanted male attention simply ends up as a background noise. They really think too highly of themselves. Quality > quantity. 2 Likes |

NSNO: Na that one dey annoy pass: a lady gets missing or brutally murdered, and instead of focusing on the killer and its motives, everyone lampoons the woman. It is a Nigerian thing as the same mentality exists on Facebook and Twitter. The constant bashing of the female folks can scare non-Nigerian women to stay away. So, I am not surprised. However, this was also performed by Ndi ifemenists on Twitter until male activists countered back. There was one that shocked me: a lady came here narrating with pictures of her tour across Nigeria. Almost half of the male responses called her ashawo and whatnot. You just call someone ashawo because she toured Nigeria?! Interestingly, as I write, she is married to a doctor, now tours West Africa and does not bother with Nairaland. The major problem is that most Nigerians cannot debate issues logically largely free of sentiments and state their points accordingly. Too many ethnic groups with varying interests distort people's reasoning. kkins25: Not just that, but logical minds. People don't like to or want to assess issues holistically, but their perceived beliefs. The next thing, boom! They claim ethnic superiority from nowhere that one would wonder from where to where I spend time going through the Facebook comment section of the Economist, Wall Street and Financial Times, New York Timesand the way Oyibos debate issues is very logical and thorough. They support their argument with facts and it becomes very interesting. Even the Telegraph and DailyMail, they construct their arguments even though one might disagree with their beliefs, but they are well constructed. On the other hand, when confronted with superior facts, they back down and accept they lost the debate. The same holds across the subreddits I follow. They debate logically and provide well-thought arguments. But our people?! For where! It is a major reason I liked and followed Sagamite's account. Man was so logical in his arguments. r/povertyfinance, r/finance, r/piracy, r/ask. r/Nigeria ( they are even trying, but na relationship matters they quick trend) Omo!!!!!!!!!!! Those people who don't believe that Nigeria has issues with electricity? Those ones who don't believe there are Nigerians who use kerosene stoves and firewood to cook? Those ones who believe Nigeria begins in Lagos and ends at Abuja? 7 Likes 2 Shares |

1Sharon:What's there to talk about them really? I'd get bore after the first topic Lol.. you get time. You are trying to educate close minded lots who believe they know it all. Let him be a woman for a day only then will be realize the truth in your words until then you are beating a dead log. I blame their fathers for creating such pseudo superiority in them. If only they had inform them that time change and humans evolve we won't have anyone believe he is the next best thing to slice bread because he has a prick 1 Like |

I believe many women disguise as men on nairaland and use male monikers to avoid unwanted attention and also women have more options on social platforms. The free attention they get on WhatsApp, Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram can not be compare to anything on nairaland and so with the nature of nairaland where men constantly expresses their displeasure to women and don't worship them as much as other social platforms, they don't like nairaland much and they can easily back away because they get tons of attention elsewhere and other social platforms tolerate them better. 3 Likes |

This question is how life is. When men send the women away, they now see how life is boring without them. We used to do that when we were teenagers. You'll grow up eventually. Men will talk about women when they are alone, women will talk about men when they are together. It is how life is, we were created to be different so we can have something different to complain about. All the time. 1 Share
