De renaissance group of bode George. This is not hard. 95% of land Awolowo gave you to form Lagos would be given back to Ogun state. Then you can form your Lagos in your remaining original 5%.

Right, some people are having an impossible dream. There's nowhere for Lagos to go than western region. Any "Renaissance" fellow is free to move somewhere else.

70% of areas made of Lagos was curved out of OGUN by Awolowo
that proves nothing, every state in Nigeria was carved out of another. It doesn't make the state lesser or a slave to the other or owned by the other

Did you read the title of the thread? It says return to regionalism. Western region will not be completed until all the parts are back together. So, any part that wasn't part of western region might be excused.

He is very Correct

This is the Map

Western Region was practically everywhere in Lagos outside Lagos Island
Majority of Apapa was under Awolowo
The Port Area was leased by the National Government after Lagos Island ran out of Land

100%.

Old Ikeja which included Agege, Mushin, Epe and Ikorodu, and every new LGA that were carved out of them would be amalgamated and returned to the Western region.

Though this news is from mischief makers, it's baseless. Lagos can't stand alone for many reasons . Land mass small, agriculture comes to mind. Other western states have coast line, seaport sure. Many south western states divert their resources to western region. Lastly, Lagos and Ogun state borders are envelope together. Like ogijo lkorudu, Berger iisheri. Sango OTA just to mention afew.

Captain Glover tried it and discovered that Lagos Island on its own was not Viable

The Western Region owned Lagos can be a Super Star without Lagos Island by God's Grace but Lagos Island cannot thrive without Western Region Lagos

For a Start Lagos Island ran out of Land a Century ago

Even the Entrance into Lagos Harbour from the Sea belonged to the Western Region

It makes no sense, this is exactly what your people claimed south east was doing to the people of south south, it's not ideal to force people to be part of you if they don't want

Instead of worrying about the Western region, worry about the fate of your people who are cowards. 40m people forced to sit at home every Monday by a ragtag group with less than 1,000 members.

Worry about a landlocked region filled with terrorists, criminals, drug dealers and baby factories. Btw, I don't know what Delta people will do but this is a pictorial evidence of how Ore will look one week after regionalism. Our Itsekiri and Edo brothers will be the only ones allowed free movement.

From your comment it is clear you are a kid. You think with regionalism you can create a border within the country against your countrymen? Oga you don't have sense at all

If Lagosians say they don't want to be part of South West region, you can't force them...

At least the Western Region Lagos which is 99% of Lagos State Land Mass today will be returned to the SW

And they can keep their Lagos Island

Even the Entrance into Lagos Harbour used by Ships to enter from the Sea to get to Lagos Island and Apapa Port belonged to the Western Region

This is like bringing a Safety Pin to a Machine Gun fight
