Now the indigenous people of Lagos are talking. I used to wonder how they allowed abobakus to invade them from their rusted slum settlements and took over their state.

Lagos and Abuja will definitely be independent regions on their own, for the regionalism to work. Some parasites can’t reap where they didn’t sow.
Cry very well IPOB member. Lagos is Yorubaland.

Yeah. A tiny part of Lagos Island, excluding Western region:Lekki, Epe, Badagry, Ikeja, Mushin, Agege e.t.c, can surely stand alone.

Apapa Port Land was Western Region leased Land!
Tin can Port was solid Western Region

FG only leased the land from the West

IF THE TRUTH BE KNOWN, LAGOS WAS NEVER PART OF WESTERN REGION.

IT IS A SWAMPY LND THAT WAS DEVELOPED TO BE NIGERIA CAPITAL CITY.

A METROPOLISE LIKE LAGOS SHOULD SHARE SAME STATUS AS ABUJA AND NOT BE PART OF ANY REGION.

THE PEOPLE OF LAGOS HAVE MORE IN COMMON WITH THE OBA OF BENIN THAN THEY DO WITH WESTERN REGION.

SO, WHEN U KNOW THE TRUTH, U ARE NOT SURPRISED.

IT IS THE SAMETHING WE HAVE BEEN TELLING THEM ALL ALONG BUT THEY NEVER LISTEN.

So that can be named west west or central west or what

Not really, if you follow the creation of States in Nigeria and their naming, you will find out that while other states/regions were given names like North Western state, East Central state, Mid western state etc. Lagos has always been Lagos. It has never changed

They are talking nonsense. Without the rest of Nigeria importing goods through Lagos and setting up repackaging industries around Lagos, they are just another two riverine LGAs at most.

Instead of worrying about the Western region, worry about the fate of your people who are cowards. 40m people forced to sit at home every Monday by a ragtag group with less than 1,000 members.

Worry about a landlocked region filled with terrorists, criminals, drug dealers and baby factories. Btw, I don't know what Delta people will do but this is a pictorial evidence of how Ore will look one week after regionalism. Our Itsekiri and Edo brothers will be the only ones allowed free movement.

Modified: e no go better for the mod than hid my comment before moving it to front page. The first comment on the post proving that it is an IPOB LP propaganda.

What is an idiom to express shock, 'a bolt from the blue!' grin grin. Chinedu Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor will still come from Lagos, while all those that dragged & abused him for seeking to represent his ancestral homeland will be forced to face the barbecue-colored shingles left them by their real ancestors! grin

The job of separating a parasite from a host is always resisted by the parasite. cool

We will be ok with our 5 south eastern states but removing Lagos from south west will render the region useless.
It will be the poorest in the country

As if Lagos is in the North, saying it will not be part of the west.

Yes they are partially right. The so called Lagos indegenes are majority slaves from Brazil, Ivory Coast, and the likes, they are not Lagos real indegenes, however Lagos is in Yoruba land, and the Brazilian Slaves cannot carry Lagos to Brazil

Another stupid move by Assembly members...you have to believe these folks are disconnected from realities. Who cares about regional govts...you want turn by turn at each region leading to instabilities.

If they don't know what to focus on...let me help them

- Water Supply and Irrigation...declare a national emergency and create Local Govt Water Cooperations
... we don't need 100 boreholes in every community.

- Policy on Rentals - Protect Landlords/Tenants...Joint TownHall Meetings

- Extension of Wage Awards till December

- Privatization of Security infrastructures to include Drone Companies, Private armed response security systems ...both foreign and domestic.

That's enough for now.
