I do t know why people are stressing themselves over regional govt. an exercise in futility which amounts to playing to the gallery. It will never see the light of day. The very 1st set of people that will reject it are the SE houses of assembly. I have always said it if you want to shit down Biafra and secession talks, give them Referendum. When they realize they are the biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria and those with the most to lose they will borrow themselves brain. 3 Likes |

They are not the only ones that will need a referendum. So, tell him to cool down first. It will be regionalism first then peoples who are not okay with where they find themselves in the six regions coming will be sorted out with referendums. Tell the guy crying that the south west achieved greatness without Lagos in the past to the extent that we were financing FG. Tell him, Lagos State today is not the the Lagos crown colony of the past he is crying about. Today, we have evidence to say some of the FG facilities and infrastructure every Nigerian is enjoying now were fradulently acquired from the old Western Region. We will be great again. 2 Likes 1 Share |

The development will be unmatched and you don't kid me to know better than them. But the truth is that the agitation has refused to go away, let there be referendum today, 99.9% Igbos will be on its actualisation 3 Likes |

lanresord:You should be used to PDP antics by now. They do this every year.l or multiple times a year. It was for the same antics that GRV displayed that ensured his massive loss in the governorship election. Yorubas are one. An Awori man from Mushin or Iyana-Iba is the same as an Awori man from Sango-Otta or Akute in Ogun state. Same as an Ijebu man from Epe or Ikorodu is the same as an Ijebu man from Isara or Ososa in Ogun. 1 Like |

Look oo. Return to regional or Zonal government system first. You can have Republic of Lagos negotiated much more easier with Yorubas, than negotiation for Lagos Republic with Arewa in one Nigeris. Look at this Lagos man sef. Without the rest of the Yoruba, and the easterners, what is Lagos? |

Guz! Na play Na play, Lagosians don open eye & they want their own autonomy & rightly so, to control their resources & chart a better future & retrieve all the land wey BAT & company kolobi him side! From where I come from: WE COULD SAY GOOD MORNING when your eyes don open. Suddenly, the South Western States just realise the POSSIBILITY of this happening! This is the real RESTRUCTURING: Lagosians taking their own destinies into their hands & not relegating their rights into the hands of pretenders, invaders. We saw how they imported miscreants from neighbouring South Western States to rig Lagos Guber Elections, carrying out Oro on election But check am nah: Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti & Osun sound different from LAGOS. Lagosians HV BN known to be accommodating, enterprising, cordial & fun loving until the pretenders invaded & started claiming who & what they are not, destroying people's houses, burning markets, promoting agberoism, looting, bribing & corrupting the system. Consequently making Lagos State no longer the Centre or Excellence, but alas, the Centre of Agberos, Miscreants,Touts,Owomi DA, Oh mine: Lagosians Salvation Abi Emancipation is SOONER THAN LATER! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Regionalism is a terrible and backward idea. Nigeria needs more states and local governments ( working local governments). Nigeria needs to devolve as much power to the people as possible. The people that keep harping on about Regionalism are essentially people lobbying for Ghana. The thing about Ghana is that they are jealousy of Nigeria. Jealous individuals never want you to be different from them. No matter how good the thing they have, they always fear the difference of another man, fearing that in this difference will grow something exceptional. |
