Globally, almost countries inflation have gone up by 30% that's on average oo. The unnecessarily money printed during the COVID by the government is what's causing inflation globally. The over excess money printed went to the rich people hence the world rich people made extra $6tr as profits during COVID. Labour demanding for anything above N100k is just a way of increasing the country inflation. With the above N100k minimum wage, the business people won't have choice than to sack most of their workers as they would no longer be able to afford their basic salary. The little increased in the minimum wage, the workers would use all to by consumable products as they would have been out of job. And then the situation would become worse than before. 20 Likes |

helinues:blaming COVID is funny Nigeria is not United States or UK. Nigerians never benefitted from COVID. The cash in circulation is not up to 10% of all the funds in people's accounts in the bank. That means if CBN with it corrupt act is to print money so that Nigerians can have their funds as physical cash, the nations budget of 2 years won't be enough. So Nigerias inflation is not caused by too much cash in circulation as we are having shortage of cash in circulation. The inflation is caused by over dependent on foreign products and excessive health and leisure tourism to foreign countries that depletes the national foreign exchange, castigation of the Nigerian youth and calling them unemployable which makes they to seek out of country without minding the risk, government not attempting to be productive but seek to sell off it productive industries for temporary revenues. The worst of it is insecurity that has kept farmers out of their farms while bandits are tolerated to roam free and carry out their menance. 4 Likes |

There are states in Nigeria who are still paying the old N18k minimum wage as they are claiming they can't afford the N30k. Would those states also be expected to pay N100k minimum wage? 22 Likes |

Is the government aware that a tuber of yam is now between 8,000 to N10,000? a bag of rice is between N70,000 to N80,000? A bag of garri is about N50,000? A full basket of tomatoes is now N150,000 (not even 95,000 as claimed by Bismark Rewane). A Loaf of bread is N1500. And we are not even talking about electricity bill (band A), fuel price, gas price, etc., yet. And the government is talking about N60,000 minimum wage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_yyoWJLfzE?si=Et7GBtXV3DCsRxma 1 Like |

Otti is conducting works verification to know how many are actually working before looking at what to pay them. That is how government should work.
