I like to thank immensely the young man, Lord Zeus, driven by patriotism and courage to raise alarm on the vandalization of the second Niger bridge.

The viral video of this good Nigerian copiously points out the senseless criminality and vandalism of our collective assets which is capable of causing grievious harm to members of the public if left unchecked.

He took time to expose how this critical infrastructure of the 2nd Niger Bridge is being vandalised by criminals, thereby causing harm to road users and constituting a security threat to society.

I share his concerns and that of many patriots over the constant destruction of public property, including vandalising of railway tracks, cutting up of high voltage cables, stealing of aluminum railings on bridges, and so on.

We must condemn these acts of sabotage and criminality in their totality. Now that this critical issue has, again, been exposed, I urge the government and security agencies to do a follow up by investigating deeply and bringing to book, the perpertrators of such crimes.

We must now put in place strict disciplinary measures for those who vandalise public assets. In this age of advanced electronic surveillance, the relevant authorities must now install reliable surveillance systems to monitor the security of vital public infrastructure.

I urge our traditional rulers, community leaders, market associations, and other stakeholders to mobilize a collective response. We must work together to educate and sensitize our people on the harmful effects of such criminality, which not only undermines our economic development but also puts lives at risk. In building a New Nigeria, we must dismantle every form of criminality, at every level of our national existence, and together, build a safer, more prosperous Nigeria for all. - PO

If dem call this one Twitter influencer or blogger now, his followers will start crying. Nothing Presidential about this dude, afi bi pure water.

I was also expecting him to talk about how the last administration wasted money building this bridge. He even called it "critical infrastructure", but... "infrastructure doesn't build the economy" - he said this, as expected of someone who built zero critical infrastructure during his 8 years as Anambra governor.

Also, days ago, elete ponmo said "No Political party enjoyed opposition like APC!" Lmaooo. Yes, APC will forever remain the best opposition in Nigeria when we have candidates like Obi - a suppose messiah, whom majority of the youth are depending on to unseat Tinubu in 2027 - running around Twitter like banger boys. Lol.

We must now put in place strict disciplinary measures for those who vandalise public assets. In this age of advanced electronic surveillance, the relevant authorities must now install reliable surveillance systems to monitor the security of vital public infrastructure.

Isn't this a waste of fund? Lmaooo. We all know what we are doing. "Hey, Tinubu aka #notMyPresident please invest in surveillance equipment to monitor this critical infrastructure Buhari built for my people with taxpayers money but how dare you use taxpayers money to build coastal road for the SS region, which is the major contributor to the nation's coffers? Clown!

Personally, I think the FG should limit how they invest in the SE because you don't know when one UGM aka ESN aka IPOB girlfriend will be snatched and he will start throwing bombs as tantum. People wey dey use their parents as shooting practice on a steady. smh!

You spent 336 billion naira to build a bridge but you can't spend at least 1 million naira to install cctv cameras at various spots to monitor the bridge.

Common sense is really scarce.

The cctv cameras that the same UGM UV ('unknown vandals') will still steal and any attempt to bring them to book will be met with resistance and seen as 'victimization of innocent citizens'' by the same ppl most affected??

Dey play!

Instead of u to condemn the act of animals in human form perpetrating this evil, u choose to drag the Gov

No wonder your region is the way it is...U excuse every bad behaviour while hoping the Gov takes care of everything

The only thing to condemn is your brain that is operating at low capacity. Which governor did I drag?

You and nonsense are siamese twins.

I gave advice on how to catch vandals but your low IQ interpreted it as excuse.

You opened that buccal gutter waa to say rubbish.

You are attacking my region. A thread is on frontpage where your brothers killed drivers to sell their cars, you have not condemned them.

Dey your lane. Don't mention me to write nonsense till you go for brain surgery.

Na their way. Everything bad happening to them under the sun is the responsibility of others. They will always shy from telling themselves the truth.

It's very funny bcus what I said is the truth: you had rather point accusing fingers outwards rather than blame the criminals within your abodes.
Arrest those same UVs ('unknown vandals') now, and d same ppl that are most affected by their criminality will be their chief 'fleedum fighter'!

Don't worry, by the time the UVs destroy d bridge, we go borrow una 3rd mainland bridge.

Rather than join hands to condemn the evil act, we are busy playing tribalism, as if crime is peculiar to only a certain region. Not a single sense of nationalism. Shame! Public property have been vandalised in many places and regions in this country in the past. I don't understand this tribal dragging going on up there. Crimes are being committed all over the place.

Don't you think it's more reasonable to channel your criticisms towards the people in power that has made exchange rate outrageous, inflation unbearable, unemployment skyrocket, insecurity the order of the day, food prices ridiculously high.

Don't you think it will make more sense and make people see that you have a functioning brain than leaving these set of people and going after an ordinary citizen like you whose only crime was to contest during the last presidential elections.

Una no dr tire? It's embarrassing
