Plan ahead, check your CRS scores, learn French etc before embarking on study visa. PR after studies is no longer easy like in the past. Many of these people protesting took loans to embark on this journey and cant go back home empty handed.

This is huge expenses you will spend over 40 million naira a year or over 3500 dollars a month for living expenses in canada 🇨🇦 just to bring 3 family members to stay with you without work permit for support and without province health card another expenses getting a health insurance even though some hospital don't recognise health insurance ..

This country is terrible on study permit without a family member on work permit and you have to pay school fees.

Madam, the world is in economic crisis. I will strongly advise that he has at least one year tuition fee handy.

Things are tough everywhere o. I know students in UK, European countries and even in Canada that have not secured any job since August/September last year.

For me, I will even advise that he goes alone for now.

Thanks for your response but my reason of going with him is to support him as I'll have SOWP and work full time.
We actually have enough money and also intend to sell off some properties after we must have secured visa.
I'm only interested in knowing if one semester tuition and enough POF can give us visa.

Please what do you mean Mpower didn't work?
They rejected the educational loan or it wasn't enough?

Oh okay.
Like Mpower was used for both tuition and Living expenses? Or just Tuition? No other funds aside that from you?

Just curious because I'm making research about them and other funders.

If you have the funds why don't you pay for the 1st year to strengthen your application. You don't need to take chances when fund is available!

"POF is not an issue" as in you have evidence to demonstrate your ability to pay for the program, or do you actually have the necessary funds?

If you genuinely have the funds, why not proceed and pay for at least the first year upfront to enhance your chances of application approval? As a word of caution, please ensure you thoroughly understand the refund policy of the institution you intend to study at. Remember, study permit applications are not solely determined by POF or the amount an applicant possesses.

Hello guys who here know who have used Mpower loan support to successfully get a study permit?

For my expected Masters course, I need 21k cad for living expenses and 30k cad for a years Tuition.

I want to get 30k cad from MPower and 25k cad from my self sponsored bank statement. Would this format work to get study permit from IRCC as I am currently working and will be able to attach my pay slip, account statement and leave of absence with study to defend my self finance for the study application.

God has done it for my family in a very special way.
Family of three.

Wife 22: Study permit
Me 31: SOWP
Son 1yr 11 months: Visitor visa

Timeline:
Application submitted on August 14
Biometrics for wife 22 August
Me no biometrics was refused 2018

Upfront medicals August 23

PPR for all: 18 September

Full-term tuition paid

Pof 29M
4 months MBS& Paper

Lump sum 15M investment liquidation
Explained with proof.

My profile is a tricky one. In my previous refusal, I was going for a Web development diploma when I already had a degree in accounting. Because of this, I decided to hide the fact that I had this degree. Also, I was in my second yr doing CS. I also did not disclose this, fearing it wouldn't make sense to them. Neither did I disclose the fact that I was doing my nysc at the time for my first degree:

In this application, I came clean with everything. I was worried that this might be seen as a misrepresentation.

Special thanks to @Bullstriker. God used him to do this miracle for my family - from admission to study permit approval. He did everything, professional, outstanding and thorough job.

Hello, please kindly connect me with bullstriker

This should fly, the key is to have funding sources that will be used to repay the loan as they fall due. Since you are self sponsored, you need to look for a way to explain how you will keep on getting funds to repay the loan without recourse to working in Canada.

Hello guys, please I have 6 plots of land and I sold 3 out of it, I have the sales receipts and the land documents, my question is which survey plan am I supposed to submit? The remaining one that I own or the one I sold? An answer will be very much appreciated, thanks.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by frony1: 2:47pm On Jun 05
If you intend to use the remaining plots of land as proof of economic viz-a-viz home ties, you can show the survey plans ( and possibly valuation report) for them .

If you intend to use the proceeds from the sold ones as part of your proof of fund, you can show the sales receipts, deeds of conveyance ( which could contain the survey plans) between you and the buyers.

To be simply put, it depends on your intent in your application packaging.

I wish you the best!
