Omo!

Dem supposed add more years to Emefiele's prison sentence because of this. How did Heritage Bank remain a commercial bank till 2024?

The Heritage Bank management deserves to be in EFCC net, but how did CBN allowed them to operate until Cardoso wielded the axe?

I have no idea.

See Polaris too, CBN don sack all their management and appoint new management for them. They may still likely revoke their license in few years because that bank is not healthy.

Emefiele did alot of parlor tricks with those banks he salvaged.

Even this one complaining about free water forgot the Sumo bringing out the water is not powered by free water. The nylon they use, cost transportation of goods and routine maintenance has gone up astronomically.

I don't blame them, na frustration.

Meanwhile, I have a strong feeling that once they effect minimum wage increase, they will fully remove petrol subsidy and fuel will cross 1k per litre.

they are pushing the CNG thing. but there are coordination issues. i think what they want to do is ensure there are alternatives to petrol which are locally available. there are already CNG stations in the country, but NNPC plans to roll out several more, and the other majors are also planning same.

I've always suspected they will do this. Give workers an increase with one hand and take it back with the other

Which will more or less make the increase useless because as fuel price dey increase, everything else go follow.

Tinubu better open the floodgates on food importation and crash import duties on food items.

It was proposed in the draft.
Although the measures were limited to food staples.

Good idea but this will take some time. As it stands, I don't think there's any CNG station in PH. By now, I also except to see CNG stations coming up along our highways.

The cost of conversion is another problem.

But raumdeuter knelt down, dipped his index finger into thick mud, and swore to me that Tinubu had removed subsidy.

Which one be 3Trn in 2023?

Na statistics we go chop? This question should be written in the sand of times

Exactly. Like I once said, if fuel goes back to 150 and dollar 460, no one will bother with minimum wage increase.

With the exchange rate, conversion of CNG is nearing 1.5 million.

How many Nigerians can afford that conversion first?

Another issue is where the tanks will be located in the vehicle.

Vehicle wey dem design for Petrol, you carry two cylinders put for trunk.

This is why I would always give Iyin Aboyeji a pass and be biased in his favour, his crazy takes on Nigerian politics regardless.

This man has done and continues to do more for the Nigerian and African startup ecosystem than most of his most dedicated Twitter critics.

Through Future Africa and Accelerate Africa and the engagements on his timeline, this man is a movement on his own. He's not just talks and seminars, but actually doing it:

Anytime I remember that Press conference he did challenging AbokiFx , I dey always vex. He was messing up at his own job but was busy chasing shadows all over the place.

As regards polaris bank and the other banks he saved, I think he had his sight on later acquiring those banks like he did Union bank.

One thing I never understand is the fact that he actually never had any back-up plan /exit strategy that when Buhari leaves, whoever will be the prseident will probe him and find out his numerous mess-ups. I mean if Peter Obi had won, there's no how most Obi supporters who wanted Buhari long gone won't call for Emefiele's head on a spike.

It was obvious Tinubu was also going to probe him. Well, I'm not so sure about Atiku sha; but it is puzzling Emefiele never had any get-out-of jail card anywhere considering the kind beans he don cook.

I think his get our of jail card was fk the election up for Tinubu and Atiku enters. I will say to the end that Buhari or his team did their best to fk up the election for Tinubu. Fuel and cash scarcity on the eve of an election. That would shake even the most hardened loyalists.

Too many issues. They will have to massively subsidise the cost of conversion or this CNG talks will be DOA

If you want to know a petrol station with accurate pumps, just look out for the ones where commercial buses, bikes and keke are running to.

I usually watch out for transport companies and that's how i know if CNG is the real deal. Nobody is converting any diesel truck. The ones that use CNG were bought that way.

There's a company i know in Ikorodu that sells CNG. Their trucks use diesel, not CNG.

Make we dey watch sha!

i have been in meetings for the past two weeks reviewing proposal to upgrade stations to include CNG. like i said there are a lot of coordination issues, but they are serious about this .

the first focus is trucks whose tanks will be easy to retrofit - but there are already nipco stations selling cng to regular vehicles, so there is a market for this as well

Do the trucks run interstate? Maybe because there's no way of refuelling along the way.

That was a foooolish plan. There was no way an Hausa/Fulani was going to replace Buhari after 8 tortuous years of Buhari's rule which had Fulani Herdsmen running riot all over the country.

Emefiele is not smart if that was his plan to help foist another Fulani man on us again. He took a gamble that never made any sense

if not for obi - atiku would have won. he would have cleared the SE as he has always done and made enough numbers. the wild card was spolier peter obi

Labour is asking for a minimum wage that reflects the value of 30k in 2019 today.

So what do you guys think is an amount that reflects 30k of 2019 in 2024.
100k?

Even with Diesel, many companies don't refuel along the way

A trailer can carry the number of tanks that it needs for diesel. Dangote no dey give driver any money for refuelling. They will give you the exact volume that will take you and bring you back.

The trucks run interstate, and like i said, they are not jumping on the CNG wave yet

What is a regular vehicle?

I have a Sienna for transport and my 7 passengers are going to have luggages. How will those bags fit into the Sienna with two extra cylinders for CNG?

I am not saying nobody is unserious oh. I am saying there are too many issues for a regular Nigerian to just decide to convert

I said any govt that fully removes subsidy deserves a 3rd and 4th term. If Tinubu did not, then he does not deserve the 3rd term. 2nd term should be enough for him as he is just like others

If not for Peter Obi, a lot of people would not have voted sef. Tinubu would've confidently won Lagos his home base.

All the young people who voted wouldn't have and it would've been a straight rigging contest between Tinubu & Atiku. Something tells me APC's rigging machinery would've delivered for Tinubu considering PDP were fighting amongst themselves.

I don't buy that school of thought of looking at the votes accrued to Obi and claiming it would have been Atiku's . A lot of those votes would not even exist if Obi didn't contest. It would just be APC and PDP jostling for the regular votes they've always jostled for.

Look at the SS and SE, In the states Obi won, Atiku was 2nd and Atiku won more SS states than Tinubu. Even Osun in SW voted Atiku

Without Obi, Many of those states would have gone to Atiku easily

There are pro APC votes and anti APC votes. Most people who voted Obi would not have voted Tinubu under any condition

So when Atku wins what part of the constitution says the North cannot rule for 20yrs at a stretch? Nothing. Just a few people will be offended
