That shouldn't be a problem go ahead with the wes evaluation. This does not affect your certificate or the process. Timeofgod: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 11:48am On Jun 06 |
No, the policy doesn't allow for BSc to bring a dependent on SOWP, your spouse can join on visiting visa while the kids are SP or visiting, exemption are MSc, and PhD. Inyaadeku: |

Good afternoon gurus in the house. I appreciate my question that was answered. We have decided to pay 1 year tuition. I also want to ask, since we are family of 4, can we use new ircc website or gckey? We have documents to uplaod and I'm worried about 2MB maximum upload in the new site. The new ircc site and gckey which one gets visa decision quicker? If we submit on 18th of this month, can we get decision in 2 months? We intend travelling ending of August. Thanks and remain blessed |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 2:00pm On Jun 06 |
The processing time is relatively the same for both portals You can use a Gckey account since you have large files to upload. The processing time is now 14 weeks, but it's possible to receive a decision within 2 months kasie1: |

Please I need urgent help with IRCC forms. When I save IMM 1294 on my computer it shows “please wait….”. I do not want to upload it that way to my application because it might not open on their end. Please how do I go about this. Also, when I print the Family Information Form, the information I typed in the occupation section cuts off. Please how do I handle this too. |

Good day, All. I need help from people that experienced a situation like mine or know people that did. I started my 2 yr diploma program in Fall 2023 but in my second choice of study. I had to apply for program change to my preferred program and it was granted to me( my college policy is that an international student must complete at least one semester in the program the study permit was gotten before changing). Unfortunately, the intake to my new program is only in fall, so I had to wait. I returned home after discussing with my school immigration specialist. I was told it would ONLY be a problem if I stay in Canada for 8 months of no study. I had the option of continuing with my old program in January but I didn't , since there will be no certification for just one year in it with all the money. I have been given a deposit to make for the new program which I am about to pay but my questions are: 1. Do I need to do another medicals since I have stayed out of Canada for Six months and my last medical is over one year? 2. What is the proper way to let IRCC know about my program change? 3. Do I have to apply for a fresh study permit ? OR Apply for Study permit and Visa extension with the explanation that, it is due the change of program. Please, I need a detailed outline of what to do in conformity with IRCC rules and regulations. Note: I have written mails to my school but the replies are not straight to the point. Thanks. |

I am applying for study visa for I, my husband and baby. I am the main applicant. I did my submission already but realized that the agent didn't submit SOP and letter of introduction and also explanation for the funds. He mentioned that he doesn't do that but get approvals for his clients. I want to please confirm if it's true or if not, what can be done? Although he mentioned we can submit additional documents on the day of the biometric. How accurate is it? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Jeboy(m): 1:08am On Jun 07 |
You don't need a new permit, get the new admission acceptance and apply for extension explaining your circumstance. My wife had a somewhat similar case but a little different from yours. So since you wont need a fresh study permit application that cones with 21k living expensees, you wont need to do a new medical. mummyprincess: 1 Like |

Canfulfilment:Hey bro if you apply using the latest IRCC portal you will not need to submit any of those forms. Actually there's no space to upload them. Instead you just type all your information in the portal. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Chapecoense(m): 4:20am On Jun 07 |
Victorious24:Shiid, I'd be panicking too. But I think you can upload any additional document you missed in the first place. You need to log in to your IRCC account and there's the option to upload additional docs after submitting the initial application. |

That is why it's not too good to be insulting people at every little provocation. It's wise to politely register your displeasure and move on or make wide consultation. You can consult some of our gurus in this platform for assistance. I have seen so many testimonies from people here that they have helped. All the best. |
