I appreciate your estimates, however, I believe the grocery budget may require some revision. It seems unlikely that a family of five would spend CAD 1,800 per month on groceries. I suggest a maximum budget of CAD 500, although even that amount may be considered generous.

Predator188:

Family of five needs 3 bedroom apartment price will depend on province and town after below estimate the rest will go on rent apartment.. for 3 bedroom apartment approximately 1700 cad to 4000cad per month.
If you don't import food stuffs that will last the whole time in Canada you will spend on groceries.
Estimated 450 dollars a week on groceries per week
Internet@home=56 dollars a month
Electricity estimate summer:60 dollars per month , in winter for hitting economy estimate upto=170 to 200 dollars per month for 3 bedroom apartment.
Mobile phone top up for two adults;25 cad ×2=50dollars
You can't get through winter without buying a car with that family size for school runs for the kids and to do shopping etc excluding car price .. for car insurance and fuel per month roughfly 300 cad per month, excluding car maintenance , just to fix a broken wiper in canada 🇨🇦 cost 250 dollars

Estimated mandatory expenses per month
3 bedroom Rent apartment in cheap town:1700cad
Groceries:1800 dollars
Internet;56 dollars
Electricity in summer:60 dollars
Phone bill:50 dollars
Roughly total is 3666 dollars per month.

Please paying 1 semester tuition fees for a 2 years masters program is it enough for someone traveling with a family of 4?
POF is not a problem but hubby said he just want to pay 10k CAD out of about 19k total 1 year tuition. MSc is 2 years and he intend submitting for all of us. Please help

Please try to go beyond their requirement. If possible, pay a year tuition ahead. The goal is to convince them beyond reasonable doubt.
Good luck you your family and we await the news!

Thanks for your reply.

We are a family of 4. I have paid my first-semester school fees, We have 41 to 43k CAD. We wanted to apply in January but this new law is making us do it this month. If dependent remains the same we are good still.

Hi, How did it go?

Must you evaluate any of the properties you want to use as home ties? Can I just submit the land documents and do a rough estimate of the valuation?

Rough estimate? nah. Please do an evaluation of the property to ensure the actual value

If you use this money to purchase goods in a Canadian 🇨🇦 store..depending on the province and any province..you will pay more than and upto 35$ on tax..
That means you will pay upto 535$
This can tell you how expensive the country is!!
I think is the groceries that is the error here. grin grin.all products purchased in store per month for home usage and for human consumption estimate per week 450-550$

$450-$550 weekly is still in on high side, except if that family is a gluton or they want to be eating only African delicacies. Most of these children rarely eats African dishes other than pizza and burger...lol

Agents applied
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by mayrhe: 10:29am On Jun 08
Don't mins those agents, they can be misleading, you can process the visa yourself.
I'll advise you to cancel the application and reapply yourself afresh, so that you wont be wasting your time. I dont think those people check additional documents for correction. I made a mistake in my 1st application too, then I uploaded additional document via webform to rectify this, but my application was rejected for that same reason. I had to reapply with correct documents before my application was okay.

Hahahahah.. Your comment got me laughing... Who orders for $25 Pizza, whereas u can get a jumbo size Pizza @ walmart for $5

As a new immigrant dont mimic the Canadian lifestyle who dont like cooking but love to order food item online or dine out, yet they rarely have savings ...lol

Agents applied
You need to request for all the documents your agents used and fire them asap.
I don't think you were banned. If you were, they will clearly state it. But your future applications will definitely attract additional scrutiny.
If you still want to reapply You will need to sit down and do this application yourself moving forward.
