Any state in Nigeria that can't afford to pay minimum wage above 100k should be merged with its neighboring state. Such state is not worthy of being a state in Nigeria, it means without oil such state can't be functional. Sadly.

Leave politics aside do you honestly think the minimum wage for civil servants should be 60k.
That's is the most unproductive organization In the country.
10% of them are outside the country.
Some haven't gone to work this year.

They are the most corrupt (even more than the politicians).

If you leave civil servants without salary they wld survive on bribe they take from citizens.

80% of them work less than 12 hrs per week.

Again forget politics. Judge by their conduct do you think they deserve it
Just open ur wide mouth waaaaaa, werey.

Oga eh! U see this talk wey talk eh, na thunder go faya you for there. My parents were civil servants and I know how devoted there were to their jobs. For you to come here and spew trash because maybe u never had to experience a civil servant's life of hardship!

What do ur favorite politicians actually do, for them to increase theirs to unreasonable figures without thinking about the economy in the first place?

Now the common workers who actually do the work don't deserve to ask for a raise in the same economy your favorite politicians sank.

Oga I don't know you, but bringing sentiments into a trivial matter such as these, u deserve to be hanged!.

Lols...
TylerPerry:
Lol. The thing I've studied about Nigerian leadership is this: often times they send out one of the very foolish to present or break the news, you know why? So you can look away from the news and attack the person. The question begging for answer is: WHO BE ALL?, have they consulted HAMAS or ISWAP boss, because his boys demands will increase?

If the workers don't deserve a paltry sum of 60k or above, is it your politicians who are receiving millions every months that deserve it?

Every governor needs to be scrutinised and hounded till they start delivering on the promises they made while campaigning.

For too long, they've been allowed to fly under the radar of poor leadership at the federal level.

They can't keep embezzling and doing little for their citizens.

You're right bro. Majority of them do not even have office not to talk of ghost workers in the system. What I believe labor should have fought for is a good economy. I hope we'll be able to cope with the inflation that will come with this. How many private establishment can afford this minimum wage? Public servants in Nigeria are about 10 to 15 percent of the total population, what should happen to the remaining 85 to 90 percent?
